Chris Brown crawls across the desert and the city to reach his love interest, played by Cassie, in the video for “Crawl,” directed by Joseph Kahn (“I Can Transform Ya”). The second single from December 15th’s Graffiti was co-written by Brown and produced by Adam Messinger and Nasri Atweh.

“It’s probably his most personal thing he’s ever done,” Kahn told MTV News of the video. “I mean, everything that’s happened to him in the year, I think this is going to be his big statement, in terms of what he’s feeling and what he’s living through right now.”

Rap-Up TV caught up with Cassie on the red carpet at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards to discuss the delay of her sophomore album Electro Love, who she’s collaborating with, and her trendsetting haircut.

A version of Jay-Z’s “Venus vs. Mars” surfaced last week featuring vocals from Cassie. But when the album version leaked this week, the Bad Girl had been replaced by Mrs. Carter on the hook. To make matters more confusing, only Cassie is credited in The Blueprint 3 liner notes, seen below.

This is not the first time Cassie has appeared on a Jay-Z record. She can also be heard on “Roc Boys (And the Winner Is…).” Listen to both ladies’ versions of “Venus vs. Mars” after the cut.

Cassie shares her 10 cents in these black-and-white photos for Dimepiece Clothing’s Fall/Winter 2009/10 collection. The campaign was shot in conjunction with her sophomore album Electro Love.
