Chris Brown introduced himself to Oscar-nominated actor Tom Cruise and wife Katie Holmes at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves game at L.A.’s Staples Center on Friday (March 19).

The R&B singer sported a cardigan and pink G-Shock watch while seated courtside next to Jimmy Iovine. Could the Interscope Geffen A&M chairman be courting Chris? Diddy and Janet Jackson were both spotted at Lakers games before eventually signing with his label.

Chris Brown

Chris Brown read the book Superhero School to third graders at Sisulu-Walker Charter School of Harlem in New York City on Thursday (March 11). “I had a great time promoting the importance of literacy,” he later said.

The R&B singer, who recently rejoined Twitter, will be visiting with soldiers at Fort Hood in Texas next week. “These troops risk their lives for all of us everyday. Im going to show my appreciation!!!” he wrote.

Chris Brown Receives Praise from Judge

Chris Brown appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court for a progress report hearing on Thursday (Feb. 18). Judge Patricia Schnegg praised the bespectacled singer, saying, “Looks like you’re doing really, really well.”

The 20-year-old star has completed 32 of the 180 days of community labor and attended 17 out of 52 domestic violence classes without missing one. “You are participating and doing a very good job,” she added.
