New Music: Fergie – ‘L.A.LOVE (la la)’

Ferg Fergie is back. Eight years after releasing her multi-platinum debut The Dutchess, the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman returns with her new single “L.A.LOVE (la la).” From L.A. to London, the Cali native reps cities around the globe on the DJ Mustard-produced banger.

“Lay back, slow it down / Better represent when we come to your town,” she raps.

Fergie is in the lab with Mike WiLL-Made It working on her second solo album, which is expected to be released in 2015.

Fergie, Tyler, the Creator, Keyshia Cole, & Dave Chappelle Attend Kanye’s L.A. Show

Kanye West’s friends flocked to the Staples Center on Monday for the second night of his “Yeezus Tour” in L.A. The guest list included Kim Kardashian, Fergie, Tyler, the Creator, Keyshia Cole, will.i.am, Russell Simmons, Khloe Kardashian (with Lamar Odom), and even Dave Chappelle.

New mom Fergie took a break from diaper duty and came out to support fellow L.A. native Kendrick Lamar, who opened the concert. “Felt good representing LA last night with @kendricklamar,” she tweeted.

Kanye’s “mentor” Tyler, the Creator, who also attended Saturday’s show, was super excited to meet Dave Chappelle. “DAVE AND I TAKING SELFIES DUDE I COULDNT FUCKING BREATH HE WAS THE ONLY PERSON THAT I WANTED TO MEET OMG,” wrote the Odd Future leader.

Keyshia Cole snapped some Instagram pics with Kendrick, Khloe Kardashian, and Tyler. “@OddFuture is cray! He talk crazy shyt! Had a good time tho!!!” said the R&B songstress.

Azealia Banks was also in the house. “Yeezus show gave me so many new ideas!!!” she gushed.

Fergie throws a ’20s style party in the vintage video for “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got).” The pregnant Black Eyed Peas singer transforms into a flapper girl as she performs at L.A.’s Emerson Theatre, while Q-Tip and GoonRock provide the soundtrack. She flirts with the fellas and gets glammed up for her big night in the bright lights.

The song is the latest single off The Great Gatsby soundtrack, which also features Jay Z, Beyoncé, André 3000, Lana Del Rey, and Emeli Sandé.
