Game Brings Out Tyga, Tyler, the Creator, Mac Miller, & Bone Thugs-N-Harmony at L.A. Show

Game

Game celebrated his release day in his hometown of L.A. After making a quick trip to New York, the Compton MC headlined a show at the House of Blues on Sunset Blvd. on Tuesday night.

Just like his new album Jesus Piece, there was no shortage of stars. The guest list included Tank, King Chip, Mac Miller, DJ Quik, and more. Tyler, the Creator joined him on “Martians vs. Goblins” and Tyga came out for “Celebration.” But the biggest surprise of the night was when all five members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony hit the stage to perform the remix.

“You know how hard it is to get all five Bone members to L.A. on the same night?” said Game before bringing out the Cleveland group.

Watch highlights from the West Coast party below.

The Game and Big Boi Visit ’106 & Park’

Game

Big Boi and The Game both drop new albums today, but they kicked off the festivities early with an appearance on Monday’s “106 & Park.”

The OutKast rapper plugged his sophomore set Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors and shared his plans for Christmas, how his collaboration with A$AP Rocky came about, and the craziest rumor he’s heard about himself. He also revealed that he’s nine songs into recording his next solo album.

Fresh from his appearance on “The Howard Stern Show,” Game spoke about celebrating his birthday with eight parties, working out (he demonstrated his strength by picking up Bow Wow), and his new label Rolex Records, a collaboration with Stat Quo.

He also revealed that he plans to buy 25 Rolexes for his friends this Christmas and confirmed that the next single off Jesus Piece will be the D’Angelo-sampled “All That (Lady).”

Never one to shy away from controversy, he also weighed in on his competition this week, which includes Big Boi and Bruno Mars. “I got four No. 1 albums and let’s just say this about to be No. 5,” said a confident Game, who broke down some of his famous lyrics “Inside the Rappers Studio.”

The Game Defends Chris Brown on ‘Howard Stern Show’

Game

Game kicked off the release week for Jesus Piece with a visit to Howard Stern’s radio show. The outspoken rapper tackled the shock jock’s loaded questions including one about his friend Chris Brown.

“It’s like a little brother of mine,” said Game of Breezy, who appears on his single “Celebration.”

Game was there when Chris was going through a difficult time. “I did the best that I could counseling him through that and I feel like he made it back OK. And they’re back together,” he said of Chris’ reunion with Rihanna. “I figured they were young and that was one of those Hollywood mishaps. I don’t think it will happen again.”

When asked if he would let his daughter get back with a man who abused her, Game replied, “Let’s not paint that picture.”

Despite being prodded by Howard, Game stood his ground. “You’re trying to get me to kill Chris Brown? That’s not gonna happen, Howard,” he said sternly.

New Music: The Game f/ Scarface & Kendrick Lamar – ‘Murder’

Murder

Game drops the last “Sunday Service” before Jesus Piece is released on Tuesday. On “Murder,” the West Coast MC narrates a dark story with some help from Scarface and Kendrick Lamar. He raps about the death of Tupac, Biggie, John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and other famous faces.

“Who the f**k killed Michael Jackson, his physician?/ He died slow in his music, you ain’t really listen/ Now his daughter getting slapped by his sister and that’s probably gonna kill their mama/ So I’m sorry Ms. Jackson, I’m sorry Ms. Houston/ Cissy, might shed a tear, but ain’t no sissy ’cause Whitney’s still with me/ And her death kinda hurt a ni**a.”

Game explained why the track didn’t make the album. “The artwork displays the original tracklisting for the album making it easy for you to slide the tracks that were supposed to be on the album but didnt make it because of sample clearances…… So again, here it is & I truly appreciate all the love & support on this album,” he wrote.
