Drake, Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Iggy Azalea, & Lady Gaga Take ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has taken social media by storm, and has everyone from Oprah to Kobe Bryant getting wet for a good cause.

Your favorite rappers and singers are also participating in the phenomenon while raising money and awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Inspired by 29-year-old former college baseball player Pete Frates, the Ice Bucket Challenge has raised over $13 million.

During the “Drake Vs. Lil Wayne” tour, Drake accepted the challenge on stage, while his tourmate poured the ice water over his head. He then nominated BeyoncĂ©.

J.Lo got an ice bath from her twins and challenged her “Booty” partners Pitbull and Iggy Azalea.

Wearing an orange bikini, a screaming Iggy got soaked and called upon T.I., Charli XCX, and her “Black Widow” collaborator Rita Ora.

A blond Chris Brown challenged Bow Wow, Trey Songz, and The Game, who in turn nominated Tyrese, T.I., and Omarion.

A shirtless Justin Bieber challenged President Obama, who opted to donate money instead.

Kylie Jenner dumped a bucket on Tyga, but not before he challenged Nicki Minaj, Drake, and August Alsina.

Lady Gaga had the most avant-garde presentation, dumping a silver ice bucket over her head while maintaining a serious face.

Tinashe turned it into a family affair, taking the challenge with her parents and brothers, while Justin Timberlake and the Tennessee Kids took the plunge together.

James Franco Interviews Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea for VMA Special

In honor of the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, VMA performers Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea sit down with entertainment tabloid TV host Dave Skylark, played by The Interview star James Franco, for “Dave Skylark’s Very Special VMA Special.”

During the 30-minute program, the uninformed Skylark asks the Aussie rapper if she knows Austrian actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and questions Nicki about her song “Super Bass,” or “Superb Ass” as he calls it, making for some funny and uncomfortable moments.

Jason Derulo also joins Skylark during the promo, which airs Sunday, August 17, at 9 p.m. on MTV.

Iggy will perform “Black Widow” with Rita Ora at the VMAs, while Nicki will treat viewers to the first performance of “Anaconda.”

Blonde ambition. Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora slay the screen in the cinematic video for “Black Widow,” the latest single off Iggy’s debut The New Classic. After channeling Clueless in her “Fancy” video, the Aussie rap sensation draws inspiration from Quentin Tarantino’s thriller Kill Bill.

The femme fatales star as sword-wielding samurais in the action-packed clip, which was shot in L.A. and features cameos from T.I. and Kill Bill star Michael Madsen. Iggy plays a waitress at a diner and dreams of exacting revenge on the obnoxious Madsen, but something gets to him first.

Before they went in front of the camera, the ladies underwent kung fu and samurai fight training.

They will perform the song live at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 24.

Two blondes are better than one. Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora combine forces in the video for “Black Widow,” the latest single off Iggy’s debut The New Classic. The Australian rapper has debuted a teaser for the cinematic clip, inspired by Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill.

The femme fatales play sexy samurais in the action-packed visuals, which were shot last month in L.A. and feature a cameo from Kill Bill star Michael Madsen.

Look out for the premiere as early as this week. “#BlackWidowComingSoon..Like Really Soon,” said Iggy.

They will also perform the song at the MTV Video Music Awards in L.A. on August 24.

Iggy Azalea Performs on ‘Today’ Show

Iggy Azalea took over New York’s Rockefeller Plaza for the “Today” Summer Concert Series on Friday. Her Azaleans camped out to see the 24-year-old Aussie rap sensation rock the stage with her hits.

Showing off her curves in orange and pink pants that said “The New Classic,” she performed “Work” and her No. 1 song of the summer, “Fancy,” which has been certified triple platinum.

“This song ‘Fancy’ has really changed my life,” said Iggy. “I’m just so, so thankful to Charli XCX, who did the song with me, for kinda teaming up and making magic. I think we both took something good and we made it great together.”

She also explained how she came up with her stage name and how she got into rap. “I just always loved music. I loved Missy Elliott so much,” she said. “She was one of my favorites, and being from the country, I really loved to watch music videos because I could kinda escape.”

During her interview, she announced that she and Rita Ora will perform “Black Widow” live at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards in L.A. on August 24. Iggy is nominated for seven Moonmen including Video of the Year.

Iggy Azalea Goes Vintage Shopping with Jeremy Scott for MTV’s ‘House of Style’

Iggy Azalea follows Cindy Crawford and Molly Sims as the new host of MTV’s “House of Style.” For her first day on the job, the “Fancy” rapper goes vintage shopping with Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott. They raid the racks at Resurrection on Melrose and Catwalk on Fairfax to find the perfect outfit.

The blonde bombshell picks out a Madonna “Blond Ambition”-inspired jacket and denim jumpsuit, and selects a red leather motorcycle jacket for Jeremy.

She also shares that Cruella de Vil is her fashion idol. “She’s my mood inspiration,” says Iggy, who dressed up as the Disney villain for Halloween.

Remy Ma Wants to Work with Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, & Azealia Banks

Following her release from prison on Friday, the Bronx rapper dropped a remix to DJ Khaled’s “They Don’t Love You No More” and called into Funkmaster Flex. In her first post-prison interview, she weighed in on the state of female rap and rumors that she’s signing to DJ Khaled’s We the Best label.

While she was away, she received support from her fellow femcees including Missy Elliott, Rah Digga, and Nicki Minaj.

She would like to do an “ill chick record” with Nicki and Iggy Azalea, and revealed that Azealia Banks has already reached out to her about a collaboration.
