First he told us to “Slow It Down,” and now The-Dream wants to turn up on “High Art,” a collaboration with Jay-Z off his upcoming album IV Play. The Grammy-winning hitmaker scores a verse from Mr. Carter on the bouncy banger.

“High Art Just a Fuckin Real Fun Energetic Summer Song!!!!!!!!!!!” tweeted Dream, who has also been working on Jay’s upcoming album with Timbaland.

“I make love to my girl and I get high with my ni**as,” sings The-Dream on the catchy hook, while Jay burns up the track and shouts out his wife (“I’m back home to my BB”).

Due May 28, IV Play is set to feature collaborations with Beyoncé and 2 Chainz (“Turnt”), Kelly Rowland (“Where Have You Been”), Big Sean and Pusha T (“Pussy!”), Mary J. Blige (“Divine”), and more.

It’s all about the Benjamins on “100$ Bill,” Jay-Z’s contribution to The Great Gatsby soundtrack. The hip-hop mogul stacks some boastful rhymes over the chopped-and-screwed beat, which features sound bites from the Baz Luhrmann-directed movie.

“Took that Taylor Swift to 100 fu**ing million, bitch!” raps the former drug dealer, who serves as the film and soundtrack’s executive producer.

Due May 7, the soundtrack also includes contributions from Beyoncé and André 3000, Fergie, Lana Del Rey, Emeli Sandé, will.i.am, Florence + The Machine, and more.

Jay-Z rubbed elbows with Hollywood’s elite at the premiere of Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby in New York on Wednesday. Mr. Carter looked sharp in a charcoal suit, tie, and Dior shoes as he posed for photos and mingled with the film’s stars including Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan.

Emeli Sandé, who covered Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” for the soundtrack, stunned in a lacy black dress.

In addition to executive producing the film and soundtrack, Jay-Z has contributed a new song called “100$ Bill.”

While his wife was performing sold-out shows across Europe, Jay-Z was catching up with his friend Chris Martin. The Roc Nation mogul and Coldplay frontman attended the Barclays Premier League match between Arsenal and Manchester United at Emirates Stadium in London on Sunday. Chris’ son Moses, who refers to Jay-Z as “Uncle Jay,” watched alongside them from the stands.

Meanwhile, Martin’s wife Gwyneth Paltrow was on “Ellen” last week where she impersonated her famous friends. Watch her sing Jay-Z’s “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” and Beyoncé’s “Halo.”

President Obama brought plenty of jokes and a couple hip-hop references at the 2013 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on Saturday in Washington, D.C. The commander-in-chief entered to the official Presidential Anthem “Hail to the Chief” before switching it up to DJ Khaled’s rap anthem “All I Do Is Win.”

“How do you like my new entrance music?” he asked the star-studded crowd, which included John Legend and Katy Perry. “Rush Limbaugh warned you about this—second term, baby. We’re changing things around here a little bit.”

He also addressed Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s controversial trip to Cuba.

“So, yes, maybe I have lost a step. But some things are beyond my control,” said Obama. “For example, this whole controversy about Jaz-Z going to Cuba—it’s unbelievable. I’ve got 99 problems and now Jay-Z is one.”

Jay-Z missed the TIME 100 gala so he could be with his wife Beyoncé and daughter Blue Ivy in Paris. The happy family was spotted having lunch at Septime restaurant on Thursday.

The 15-month-old was cute as can be, wearing adidas sneakers and a “Pump Up the Volume” graphic tee, as her mom held her. Doting dad Jay-Z kissed his daughter as the paparazzi swarmed the restaurant to get a shot.

Just last night, Beyoncé debuted her new song “Grown Woman” live for the first time in Paris. She will play a second sold-out show tonight.

Just days after the premiere of his Daft Punk collaboration “Get Lucky,” Pharrell paid a visit to “The Angie Martinez Show” on Hot 97. The Neptunes hitmaker, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, spoke about his secrets to looking young (He washes his face and uses Cetaphil), the success of “Get Lucky” and “Blurred Lines,” and getting married to fiancée Helen Lasichanh.

“Yeah, of course,” he says when asked about their plans to tie the knot.

He revealed that he has new music on the way from Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Kylie Minogue, Busta Rhymes, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, No Doubt, and Miley Cyrus, who he attests is a big hip-hop fan.
