Beyoncé and Jay Z

Life’s a beach for the Carters. Beyoncé and Jay Z celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary with a trip to the Dominican Republic earlier this week. The superstar couple relaxed at a plush resort on the Caribbean island with their daughter Blue Ivy, sharing the candid pics on Bey’s Tumblr page.

Hov gave Blue a piggyback ride and Bey strolled hand-in-hand with her two-year-old daughter on the sand. A bikini-clad Bey, who scored seven nominations at the Billboard Music Awards, also did a handstand and kicked back with her husband while enjoying the oceanfront view.

According to E! Online, the Carters were also spotted at Casa de Compo resort during their vacation.

While seated at the bar, Jay Z noticed a man wearing a Brooklyn Nets shirt and tapped him on the back to say, “Cool shirt man.”

New Music: Jay Electronica & Jay Z – ‘We Made It (Remix)’

Jay Z and Jay Electronica

Jay Electronica is making up for his absence. After dropping his unreleased record “Better in Tune with the Infinite” earlier this month, the New Orleans rapper teams with his Roc Nation boss Jay Z on an explosive remix to Soulja Boy’s “We Made It,” which Drake previously remixed.

He dedicates the song to his supporters. “Apologies go out to all of my fans ’cause they waited so patiently / This one is for all of the lost and forgotten black angels that pray for me,” raps Jay Electronica.

Hov takes the opportunity to stunt on his haters with a killer verse. “Sorry Mr. Drizzy for so much art talk / Silly me rapping about shit that I really bought / While these rappers rap about guns they ain’t shot and a bunch of other silly shit that they ain’t got / I’m on my Lupita Nyong’o / Stuntin’ on stage after 12 Years a Slave,” he boasts.

Bow in the presence of greatness.

Beyoncé and Jay Z Visit Anne Frank House

While in town for her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour,” Beyoncé visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam on Wednesday. The “Partition” singer and her husband Jay Z toured the museum dedicated to the teenage Jewish diarist, who hid from Nazi persecution during World War II. Before leaving, Bey wrote a message in the guestbook.

According to the museum’s Facebook page, the couple spent more than an hour inside and were “very impressed by their visit to the hiding place of Anne Frank.”

A fan snapped a photo of the Carters as they left the museum. “Came to Anne Frank, saw these two too! #random #celeb,” wrote jedlogan.

Last year, Justin Bieber visited the historic landmark and drew outrage for his comments in the guestbook. “Truly inspiring to be able to come here,” wrote the Canadian singer. “Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.”

Bey will play her second show at Ziggo Dome tonight before continuing to Belgium, Spain, and Portugal.
