The Smiths stepped out in style to the premiere of After Earth. The famous family including Will, Jada, Trey, Jaden, and Willow made the trip to New York for the star-studded screening on Wednesday.
Jaden opted for an all-white look, while his sister Willow was looking well past her 12 years in a black pantsuit. Their celebrity pals including 50 Cent, Lil Mama, and Wyclef Jean came out to support the sci-fi thriller, which stars Will and Jaden.
Jaden’s pal Justin Bieber skipped the red carpet and made a quick entrance into the Ziegfeld Theatre. “Everyone go see #AfterEarth this weekend. @officialjaden we got u. #supportyourfriends,” he tweeted.
The M. Night Shyamalan-directed film opens in theaters on Friday.
Thirteen years after making his debut with Back for the First Time, Ludacris is regarded as a veteran in hip-hop. The hip-hop mogul, whose mixtape #IDGAF dropped last week, weighed in on his status in the game during the second part of his interview with Rap-Up TV.
“I feel good about my place in hip-hop. I feel like I’m one of the elite and I say this humbly speaking,” said Luda. “To make it to album number eight [Ludaversal], to be in the game 13 years and still be hungry, I feel like I’ve written my chapter into the hip-hop history book and I feel like everything from now is damn near extra credit.”
However, he understands why he doesn’t always get the respect he deserves. “It’s ’cause I play so fucking much. They call me Ludacris for a reason,” he said. “Sometimes people don’t know when to take me serious. And sometimes people do take me serious when I’m really just joking around.”
Over the weekend, Fast & Furious 6 starring the rapper-actor opened at No. 1 at the box office. So has he ever thought about hanging up the mic and pursuing acting full-time? “The only time I could probably do this Hollywood thing full-time is later on in life, and I mean way later on,” he said. “I’m tryna be on some Morgan Freeman-type shit, but I don’t see myself quitting music anytime soon.”
During the Billboard Music Awards earlier this month, Luda’s frequent collaborator Justin Bieber got booed after receiving the Milestone Award. But Luda was quick to defend the teen idol. “As a friend and as a fan, I feel like he’s going to be around for quite some time,” he said. “People need to start giving him the props that he deserves.”

will.i.am joins forces with pop megastar Justin Bieber in the futuristic video for “#thatPOWER.” The Black Eyed Peas leader storms cities across the world with a series of clones, performing robotic dance moves in the streets. He beams up a hologram Bieber, who lays down the catchy hook.
“This video is probably the most time-consuming video that I’ve ever been a part of because I had to rehearse choreography, and I’ve always been against choreography for me,” will.i.am told “ET.”
He worked with choreographers Fatima and Rio on the organized dance moves. “We have this real, next-level, futuristic type of choreography,” he said. “It’s not dance, it’s like synchronized movement.”
The dance record will be featured on will’s solo album #willpower, due April 23, along with collaborations with Britney Spears, Chris Brown, Juicy J, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Scherzinger, and Skylar Grey.
What’s it like to be one of the biggest pop stars on the planet? Justin Bieber jets across the globe, playing show after show on his “Believe” tour in the video for “All Around the World,” the latest release from his 2012 album Believe.

Lil Twist has been in the headlines for his friendship with Justin Bieber. The Young Money rapper has been blamed for being a bad influence on the pop superstar, whether it’s having a wild party at his mansion or crashing his exotic cars. Some have even accused him of introducing Bieber to drugs. After all the negative press, Twist has decided to address his critics in an open letter on Instagram.
He makes no apologies for his behavior. “I’m a young adult who makes mistakes, fuk ups, #baddecisions , whatever u wanna call them like the rest of the fukin civilians in America,” he wrote.
He goes on to blast the media and the fake friends. “I’m disgusted by your actions,” barked Twist in the explicative-laced letter.
But it ends with him vowing to make a change. “U know what Im gonna clean up my act,” he said.
Twist is gearing up for the release of his mixtape Wake Up, due April 20. Read his message below.
