A year-and-a-half after releasing his Grammy-winning album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kanye West unleashed the video for “Lost in the World” and now comes a remix by Tiësto. The 7-minute electro-dance track was recorded over a year ago, but the Dutch DJ was finally given permission to play it during his podcast. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian cozied up courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Denver Nuggets game at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Saturday. The couple wasn’t shy with the PDA, locking hands and whispering in each other’s ears as photographers snapped away. Yeezy was grinning from ear to ear the entire night.

The kiss cam caught celebrity couple Justin Timberlake and fiancée Jessica Biel locking lips. The pop superstar jammed with the Lakers band and high-fived Kobe Bryant on the court.

Game brought his grandmother to the game to celebrate her 77th birthday and introduced her to his famous friends including Kanye and Justin. “My grandma brought a date to the game & kicked me to the curb til 4th quarter,” joked the Compton rapper, who took a photo of grandma with ‘Ye.

Kanye West reignited rumors that he may be signing 2 Chainz to G.O.O.D. Music when he tweeted, “2 Chainz is charging 100k for a verse now cause he’s G.O.O.D!!!!!!” But the former Playaz Circle member still won’t confirm or deny his affiliation with the hip-hop label.

Kanye West is a busy man, but he still manages to make time for the ones he loves. Yeezy followed his girlfriend Kim Kardashian to Toronto for the Canadian debut of her jewelry line Belle Noel. Journalists were surprised to see the hip-hop superstar working on his laptop while Kim conducted interviews in the same room. Her E! reality show camera crew was also in tow as the couple exited the building through a sea of fans and photographers.

It’s hard not to love Karmin. The swag-pop duo, comprised of Amy Heidemann and Nick Noonan, became a viral sensation with their rap-sung covers of popular hip-hop hits including “Look at Me Now” and “6 Foot 7 Foot” before grabbing the attention of L.A. Reid, who signed them to Epic Records.

On the eve of their major label debut Hello, the quirky twosome sat down with Rap-Up TV (on a piano, no less) to discuss how they got into hip-hop, meeting Kanye West, taking inspiration from Nicki Minaj, and their embrace by the hip-hop community.

The engaged couple, who met at Boston’s Berklee College of Music, recalled their encounter with Kanye, who was interested in signing them to G.O.O.D. Music. “Meeting our idol Kanye was surreal,” said Amy, who calls My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy her favorite rap album. “We kinda talked about our songwriting and recording process and it turns out they’re very similar creatively.”

Another superstar they’ve met is Nicki Minaj, whose song “Super Bass” they covered on YouTube with The Roots’ ?uestlove. “I have a huge girl crush on her,” admitted Amy. “She’s one of the people who inspired me to jump into it and start rapping.”

One of the highlights of their career so far has been performing at the 2011 BET Awards. “Amy secretively wants to be a black person,” joked Nick, while his other half added, “Being embraced by the hip-hop community is just priceless.”

Kanye West sees in black and white in the video for “Lost in the World,” a cut off 2010’s Grammy-winning album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Directed by filmmaker Ruth Hogben, the seizure-inducing clip “breaks the mold of popular rap aesthetics while still celebrating the extraordinary talent that has made West a modern icon.”
