Chris Brown returned to the stage on Tuesday (Oct. 27) at Power 105.1’s Powerhouse ’09 concert for the first time since pleading guilty to assaulting Rihanna. Despite technical difficulties, the pop star braved the rain and thrilled the audience with his new single “I Can Transform Ya” with Swizz Beatz, wearing a Michael Jackson “Thriller”-inspired outfit.

Keri Hilson, Mario, Ryan Leslie, Fabolous, Trey Songz, Jim Jones, Omarion, and The-Dream also performed at the New York radio station’s annual show at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J.

A red-hot Keri Hilson burned up the red carpet at the U.K.’s 14th Annual MOBO (Music of Black Origin) Awards in Glasgow, Scotland, on Wednesday (Sept. 30). Beyoncé was among the big winners, while host Hilson went home with the award for Best R&B/Soul Act. La Toya Jackson introduced a tribute to her late brother which included Jermaine Jackson, while Kelly Rowland and David Guetta performed their hit “When Love Takes Over.”

Despite feeling under the weather, Keri Hilson persevered and performed her new single “Slow Dance” on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Friday. She got by with a little help from The Roots.

The Paula Abdul-hosted show featured pairings of young divas with old-timers including Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder, Leona Lewis and Cyndi Lauper, Adele and India.Arie, and Jordin Sparks and Martina McBride. Toni Braxton and Keri Hilson were among the presenters.
