New Music: T-Pain f/ Lil Wayne – ‘Let Me Through’

Lil Wayne and T-Pain

T-Wayne is back…well, sort of. During his visit to “Sway in the Morning” this week, T-Pain opened the vault and liberated an unreleased collaboration with Lil Wayne called “Let Me Through.”

The duo scored two top 10 hits with “Can’t Believe It” and “Got Money,” and had plans to release a joint album. When he spoke to Rap-Up TV in March, T-Pain was optimistic that the T-Wayne album would see the light of day.

“I’m getting back on my music shit, so I’m pretty sure Wayne will be like, ‘I’m glad you’re back. Let’s make this happen,’” he said. “I think it’ll happen again. I think it will.”

Just this week, T-Pain released his Happy Hour: The Greatest Hits collection featuring 13 of his biggest records including “Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin’),” “I’m N Luv (Wit a Stripper),” and his new single, “Drankin’ Patna.”

Listen to “Let Me Through” and watch Teddy P. spit a freestyle for Sway.

New Music: Nicki Minaj f/ Drake, Lil Wayne, & Chris Brown – ‘Only’

Only

She broke chart and VEVO records with “Anaconda,” and now Nicki Minaj keeps winning with “Only,” the third single off The PinkPrint. The First Lady of Young Money assembles an all-star team of Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown for the track, produced by Dr. Luke, Cirkut, and J Mike.

Her Minajesty takes charge on her opening verse, telling people to stop worrying if her butt is fake, while Drake admits his obsession for “BBW” girls and his labelmate.

“I never fu**ed Nicki ’cause she got a man, but when that’s over, then I’m first in line,” he quips over the tinkering beat.

Nicki’s third album The PinkPrint has been pushed from November 24 to December 15.

Only

After going platinum with “Anaconda” (which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100), Nicki Minaj is readying the follow-up to her Sir Mix-a-Lot-sampled smash. Her Minajesty has announced “Only” as the third single off her upcoming album The PinkPrint. It features a trifecta of superstars including Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown.

The song drops Tuesday, October 28. Nicki took to Instagram to reveal the illustrated artwork, which shows Young Money’s First Lady in a superhero catsuit, Drake as the pope, and Weezy in a suit and tie.

Her third album The PinkPrint is due November 24. “I think the album is so classic,” said Nicki, who will host the MTV EMA in Glasgow on November 9. “It’s gonna feel so good and I think it will probably be something that female rappers look to as a PinkPrint for years to come.”

This marks Drake and Breezy’s first collaboration since their infamous club fight in June 2012. The two were seen in the studio over the summer working on new music.
