Mariah Carey, Tamar Braxton, & Jennifer Hudson Perform at ‘BET Honors’

The divas showed out during the 7th annual “BET Honors,” which taped earlier this month in Washington, D.C. and aired on Monday night. Mariah Carey, Tamar Braxton, Jennifer Hudson, and Janelle Monáe all blessed the stage, while this year’s honorees included Aretha Franklin, Berry Gordy, and Ice Cube.

Perched atop a piano, Mariah kicked things off with the debut television performance of her new single “You’re Mine (Eternal).”

Tamar Braxton paid tribute to Berry Gordy with a medley of Diana Ross’ “Do You Know Where You’re Going To” and “Upside Down.”

Janelle Monáe also serenaded the Motown legend with the Jackson 5′s “I Want You Back” and “ABC.”

Jennifer Hudson and Karen Clark-Sheard brought down the house during their soulful salutes to Aretha Franklin.

And the Queen of Soul herself honored the late Nelson Mandela with “A Change Is Gonna Come.”

Video: Mariah Carey f/ Trey Songz – ‘You’re Mine (Remix)’

Mariah Carey serves up some eye candy for the ladies and the fellas this Valentine’s Day with the steamy remix video for her single “You’re Mine (Eternal).” In the new edit, Mariah duets with her hunky co-star Trey Songz, who also appeared in the original video.

There are additional shots of a shirtless Trey, modeling for the cameras and lying in bed, while a topless and glittery Mimi sits by a waterfall in Puerto Rico’s El Yungue National Rain Forest.

In an interview with MTV News, Mariah showered praise on the Virginia crooner. “I love what he did to the song because I feel like he gave us a lot of different moments artistically,” she said. “Most people can’t sing, rap, and have a sound that’s current yet also classic.”

The legendary diva has also dropped a couple dance remixes to her Rodney Jerkins-produced single, one produced by Jermaine Dupri and Kurd Maverick and another by Jump Smokers.

Mariah Carey Lights Up Empire State Building for Valentine’s Day

In honor of Valentine’s Day and her romantic new single “You’re Mine (Eternal),” Mariah Carey helped spread the love by lighting up the Empire State Building in red and pink as part of the 20th annual Valentine’s Day Wedding Event, “Love Above All.”

Looking glamorous in all white, the pop diva was joined by three couples, who won a contest to get married atop the iconic NYC building.

“#TrueLove on top of the @EmpireStateBldg #YoureMineEternal #Valentines,” tweeted Mimi.

The video for “You’re Mine (Eternal)” debuted yesterday, and Mariah will appear on BET’s “106 & Park” on Valentine’s Day to premiere the remix video co-starring Trey Songz.

During her appearance on MTV, Mariah and her hubby Nick Cannon reenacted a scene from Mariah’s favorite movie, Mean Girls.

Mariah Carey is back in all her diva glory in the breathtaking video for “You’re Mine,” the new single off her first album in five years, due May 6.

The Indrani-directed clip, which was shot at Puerto Rico’s El Yungue National Rain Forest, features gorgeous shots of a topless and glitter-covered Mariah singing against the lush backdrop, while she thinks about her man, played by a shirtless Trey Songz.

“We wanted to make a modern classic that made you have an emotional response and yet was still something that could play on radio now,” Mariah told MTV’s Sway of the ballad, which she wrote and produced with Rodney Jerkins.

The remix video with Trey will premiere Valentine’s Day on BET’s “106 & Park.”

Mariah Carey Dishes on Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, & New Music on ‘The Breakfast Club’

After launching her new single “You’re Mine (Eternal)” this morning, Mariah Carey paid a visit to the notorious “Breakfast Club.” After taking a “splash” of champagne and making sure the lighting was right, the pop diva fielded questions from Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy.

During the 38-minute interview, she discussed her experience on “American Idol” (Mariah says she was paid more than $12 million), her husband Nick Cannon, her “diva fit,” and what she thinks of Ariana Grande, who’s often compared to Mariah.

Trey Songz, who’s featured on the remix to “You’re Mine,” also called in to discuss his collaboration with Mariah. “I’m happy to be on the record,” said the R&B crooner. “I’m very much happy to share any musical space with you, a living icon. To be involved with your latest is such a blessing.”

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Mariah Carey returns with a stone groove smash for all the lovers. The big-voiced diva gets swept away by an intoxicating love on “You’re Mine (Eternal),” the new single off her first album in five years, due May 6.

“I can’t seem to live without your love / Suffocating here by myself / Dying for your touch,” sings an emotional Mimi on the hard-hitting ballad, which she wrote and produced with Rodney Jerkins.

Things get even hotter on the R&B remix, on which she trades passionate verses with heartthrob Trey Songz.

The video, shot at Puerto Rico’s El Yungue National Rain Forest, will premiere today at 7:50 p.m. EST on MTV, while the remix video debuts Friday on BET’s “106 & Park.”
