Jay Z Brings Out Meek Mill in Philadelphia

A day after presenting J. Cole with his original Roc-A-Fella chain, Jay Z brought out Philly’s own Meek Mill during his “Magna Carter World Tour” show in Philadelphia on Wednesday. The Maybach Music MC performed his Dreams and Nightmares “Intro” and traded bars with Hov during “Ima Boss.”

“Make some noise for Philadelphia’s own Meek Milly in this motherfu**er,” said Hov, whose tour wraps Friday in Pennsylvania.

Meek responded, “Make some noise for the motherfu**in’ greatest of all time, H-O in this bitch.”

He was still reveling in the moment the next day. “Touching the same stage as hov gave me a hint I’m on my way,” tweeted Meek. “I use 2 dream of this shit ….. Prince x king.”

Meek Mill Hosts Wild Grammy After-Party with Drake, Trey Songz, & Keyshia Cole

Meek Mill took his partying to the next level. Following Sunday’s Grammys, the MMG rapper hosted the craziest event of Grammy weekend—complete with a superstar guest list and even wild animals. Drake, Trey Songz, Keyshia Cole, and Kevin Hart were shuttled to a mansion in the Hollywood Hills, where they partied with pals including Diddy, Rick Ross, Wale, and Nelly.

Camels and lions roamed the property while guests sipped Ace of Spades and DJ Mustard provided the evening’s soundtrack.

The party, which reportedly cost $200,000, went until 5 a.m. before the cops shut it down. Hundreds of guests were left stranded after their cars were towed for being illegally parked.

“Meeks party was CRAZY last night!” tweeted Sevyn Streeter.

Rap-Up TV: Meek Mill Enlists Rita Ora, Timbaland for Sophomore Album

The Maybach Music crew is gearing up for a big year ahead with new albums from Rick Ross, Wale, and Meek Mill, who plans to drop his sophomore LP this spring. While attending the launch of “REVOLT Live” in Hollywood, the Philly MC revealed that he has recorded over 80 songs and collaborated with the likes of DJ Khaled and Rita Ora, who appears on a song called “I’ma Ride.”

“It’s fire. Just know I’m spittin’ on it,” Meek exclusively told Rap-Up TV. “[Rita's] singin’. She’s sounding very good on it. Hopefully the people love it when it drops.”

Timbaland has also lent his production skills. “That’s the OG,” said Meek. “Me and Timbaland always kickin’ it for the last year or two, so I seen him one day, I was playin’ some music for him and Hov, and he was like, he wanna go in and make some magic. I was all the way with that.”

So what can fans expect from the follow-up to his 2012 debut Dreams and Nightmares? “You can expect just quality music,” explained Meek, who still hasn’t decided on a title. “You know me, I’m a street rapper. I come with that street shit, so I’m just comin’ with that on another level right now and takin’ them to a different place.”

During his recent trip to Miami, he met up in the studio with Justin Bieber. “I seen him the day before he got locked up. We just was chillin’,” said Meek, who shared his support for the Biebs following his arrest.

“He’s a kid. Kids gon’ be kids. Everybody’s not perfect.”

YG rides out with an all-star cast on the remix to his DJ Mustard-produced street smash “My Nigga.” The Compton MC grabs verses from Lil Wayne, Rich Homie Quan, Meek Mill, and Nicki Minaj, who holds it down for her “bitches.”

“I just got $250,000 for a verse, ni**a/ I don’t know is it me or it’s your thirst, ni**a / You ni**as ain’t got no joints / Like the injured Chris Paul, you ain’t got no point,” spits Nicki.

To close out his “CMG Music Gift Day” releases, Yo Gotti comes through with the remix to his ballers’ anthem “LeBron James” featuring Meek Mill. The Maybach Music MC once again fires back at Kendrick Lamar following his “Control” verse.

“Ni**as screamin’ they the king, well where your throne at, pu**y,” he raps.

The original song appears on Yo Gotti’s album I Am, which also features appearances from J. Cole, T.I., Ne-Yo, and Wale.
