Meanwhile, two-time nominee Big Sean bounced through to promote his upcoming album Hall of Fame. He showed love to Fall Out Boy, Ne-Yo, Miguel, and Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman, while B.o.B signed a guitar for charity.
Ne-Yo set the charts on fire last year with his hit “Let Me Love You” off his R.E.D. album. Now he teams up with French Montana for the urban remix, produced by Rico Love. Rita Ora and Ne-Yo capped off their 2012 on stage, performing for “MTV’s Club NYE 2013.” Dressed in a red suit, the R&B crooner performed his hit “Let Me Love You,” and was interviewed by Snooki.
“I want R&B to make a comeback in 2013, and I’ma try to have something to do with that,” said Ne-Yo, who introduced Rita.
The blonde bombshell performed her celebratory single “How We Do (Party)” from MTV’s studios in Times Square.
“There’s nothing really better than performing, so I don’t mind,” she said.
Live from 30 Rock, it’s Ne-Yo! The R&B gentleman graced the “Saturday Night Live” stage for the first time as musical guest over the weekend.
Following an introduction from host Jamie Foxx, Ne-Yo served up a high-energy performance of his top 10 single “Let Me Love You (Until You Learn to Love Yourself)” off his new album R.E.D., showing off some fancy footwork alongside his team of dancers.
The fedora-clad singer slowed things down later in the show with the acoustic ballad “She Is.” The original version of the song appears on R.E.D. as a duet with country crooner Tim McGraw.
50 Cent’s ongoing beef with French Montana may be consuming his Twitter timeline, but he invested his energy into a more worthy cause on Sunday night. The rapper-philanthropist got suited up for “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute” held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. 50 was on hand to honor ordinary people who are making extraordinary contributions to help others.
Proceeds from his Street King energy drink and SMS headphones go towards feeding millions of starving children in Africa.
“CNN HERO’s was the bomb everybody came out to support,” tweeted 50, who posed with Ne-Yo, Adrien Brody, and Susan Sarandon.
“CNN Heroes” will air on December 8 at 8 p.m. on CNN.
With his single “Let Me Love You” still in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, Ne-Yo debuts the cinematic video for “Forever Now,” a cut off his new album R.E.D. The R&B gentleman sings away his sorrows as he sees his girl give her heart to another man. He struggles with the situation while going about his business, answering questions at a press conference and rehearsing for a performance with his dancers.
“What I do now?” he asks himself as he sings in the rain.

The holiday weekend capped off with the Soul Train Awards 2012, which aired last night on Centric. Taped earlier this month at Planet Hollywood’s PH Live in Las Vegas, the 25th annual show featured performances from R&B and hip-hop’s biggest stars and some talented newcomers.
Keyshia Cole tore the house down with her singles “Trust and Believe” and “Enough of No Love,” 2 Chainz proclaimed “I’m Different,” Miguel thrilled with “Adorn,” and Ne-Yo had the audience on its feet with “Let Me Love You.”
Elle Varner scored Best New Artist, Beyoncé was awarded Best R&B/Soul Female Artist, Miguel won Best R&B/Soul Male Artist, and Album of the Year went to Frank Ocean’s channel ORANGE.
