Whoa, Nelly. Nelly ushered in his 38th birthday the way he was born—in his birthday suit. Fresh off the release of his mixtape Scorpio Season, the St. Louis rapper posted a photo of himself in the buff with nothing but a birthday cake covering his private parts.

“Birthday cake in my Birthday suit!!!! # SHEEESH,” tweeted the brawny star.

His female fans swooned over the eye candy. “Sweet baby Jesus!!!!” wrote one of his Instagram followers, while another said, “iv died n gone to heaven lol!!”

Nelly celebrates his 38th birthday by dropping his mixtape Scorpio Season. The 11-track follow-up to his 2011 tape O.E.MO features the single “CNF (Country Ni**a Fly)” and appearances from his fellow St. Lunatics, B.o.B, and Trae Tha Truth, plus production by Drumma Boy, Mars, and Detail. Nelly gets in shape for Scorpio Season. The brawny rapper shows off his tatted arms in a black tank top on the cover of his upcoming mixtape, available for download on his birthday, November 2. Just last week, the St. Louis native dropped the first single “CNF (Country Ni**a Fly).”

Scorpio Season is the follow-up to Nelly’s 2011 mixtape O.E.MO, which arrived last Christmas featuring remixes to Drake’s “The Motto,” T-Pain’s “5 O’Clock,” and Machine Gun Kelly’s “Wild Boy.”

Nelly may be a global superstar, but he hasn’t forgotten where he came from. The St. Louis rapper embraces his country roots on “CNF (Country Ni**a Fly),” the first single off his upcoming mixtape Scorpio Season, due November 2.

“I’m a strip club veteran,” raps Nelly over the rattling bassline, while also spitting familiar lyrics from his debut single “Country Grammar.”

You can take the boy out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the boy.

Fresh from their romantic European getaway, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian brought their fashion A-game to the Angel Ball 2012 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. Mr. West looked sharp in a tuxedo, while Kim was beaming in a blue slit dress. ‘Ye surprised his girlfriend by taking her to Italy over the weekend to celebrate her 32nd birthday. He wined and dined her, and there were even rumors that he proposed.

“Kanye surprised me for my birthday and took me to Italy!” wrote Kim on her blog. “This has been the most incredible, romantic trip ever!!”

Another glamorous couple, Ashanti and Nelly, showed up to the ball in black. Nelly also got on the mic to perform. Solange wowed in a plunging dress, while her mother Tina Knowles was more conservative with her fashion.
