Robin Thicke and Pharrell Perform ‘Blurred Lines’ on ‘Ellen’

Fresh off his performance on “The Voice,” Robin Thicke brought “Blurred Lines” to “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday. While T.I. didn’t make the trip, the R&B crooner and Pharrell performed the title track off his upcoming album with three models doing backup. The fellas made their way into the audience to dance with some ladies during the red-hot set.

After their appearance on “The Voice,” the song shot to No. 1 on iTunes and is currently No. 54 on the Billboard Hot 100. Thicke’s album Blurred Lines is due this summer, while a new single “4 the Rest of My Life” is scheduled to hit iTunes on May 28.

The trio’s collabo is currently No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100, while Thicke’s album Blurred Lines is due this summer.

Just days after the premiere of his Daft Punk collaboration “Get Lucky,” Pharrell paid a visit to “The Angie Martinez Show” on Hot 97. The Neptunes hitmaker, who recently celebrated his 40th birthday, spoke about his secrets to looking young (He washes his face and uses Cetaphil), the success of “Get Lucky” and “Blurred Lines,” and getting married to fiancée Helen Lasichanh.

“Yeah, of course,” he says when asked about their plans to tie the knot.

He revealed that he has new music on the way from Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Kylie Minogue, Busta Rhymes, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, No Doubt, and Miley Cyrus, who he attests is a big hip-hop fan.

Pharrell Performs ‘Get Lucky’ for the First Time

Fresh off the song’s official debut, Pharrell performed “Get Lucky,” his collaboration with Daft Punk, for the first time during the HTC One launch at Brooklyn’s House of Vans on Friday night. He did it not once, but three times as the crowd sang along.

“Man these guys that made this record, they’re like so far beyond their time. I’m honored to know those guys, those robots,” said Pharrell of the French electro duo. “We just have a lot of incredible history together. So when they called me over the summer, I just remembered thinking one thing…Try to get lucky, right?”

The disco-funk track has already rocketed to No. 1 on iTunes in over 40 countries. It marks the first single off Daft Punk’s upcoming album Random Access Memories, due May 21.

New Music: Daft Punk f/ Pharrell – ‘Get Lucky’

Get Lucky

Pharrell gets into the groove with Daft Punk on “Get Lucky,” the first single off the French duo’s album Random Access Memories, due May 21. The Neptunes hitmaker lays down an irresistible falsetto hook, while Nile Rodgers plays guitar on the disco-funk record.

The duo debuted a teaser at Coachella and during commercial breaks on “SNL,” but now the official version has hit VEVO and iTunes.

Pharrell is also featured on the thumping disco track “Lose Yourself to Dance,” with additional appearances from The Strokes’ Julian Casablancas, Paul Williams, Todd Edwards, and Animal Collective’s Panda Bear.

According to Rolling Stone, Daft Punk has also been in the studio with Kanye West working on music for his upcoming album.
