New Music: Machine Gun Kelly f/ Pusha T & Meek Mill – ‘Peso’

Machine Gun Kelly puts on for his city on his hustler’s anthem “Peso,” a collaboration with Pusha T and Meek Mill. The Cleveland rapper goes hard over a sped-up sample of Aloe Blacc’s “I Need a Dollar.”

MGK originally announced that the song would serve as the first single off his mixtape Black Flag.

“It’s a joint that makes you want to get up and go to work,” he told Rap-Up.com.

Video: Pusha T – ‘Numbers on the Boards’

Pusha T turns the City of Light dark in the gritty video for “Numbers on the Boards.” The G.O.O.D. Music lyricist drops some dope bars while overlooking Paris and goes underground in a subway while spitting more fire. Kanye West and Chief Keef also make cameos.

The Don Cannon-produced song is set to appear on his upcoming debut My Name Is My Name, due July 16. The album features production from Kanye West, Pharrell, The-Dream, Knottz, Don Cannon, and Swizz Beatz, plus collaborations with Kanye, Rick Ross, Future, 2 Chainz, and Kendrick Lamar.

Pusha T Performs on ’106 & Park’

My Name Is My Name drops July 16 featuring collaborations with Kanye West, Rick Ross, Future, 2 Chainz, and Kendrick Lamar, plus production from Kanye, Pharrell, The-Dream, Knottz, Don Cannon, and Swizz Beatz.

The video for “Numbers on the Boards” was shot in Paris and will premiere next week.

Red Café shows out on his flashy new single “Boss Bitches & Fast Cars” featuring Fabolous and Pusha T. In the accompanying visuals, the Bad Boy rapper makes his way to the PROJECT trade show in Las Vegas and performs at the DUB Show in L.A., where he meets up with Akon and his labelmate French Montana.

The song will appear on his upcoming mixtape American Psycho II, due in May. His Bad Boy debut Shakedown is set to follow in September.

Pharrell Celebrates 40th Birthday with Lil Wayne, Jennifer Hudson, & Miley Cyrus

Pharrell toasted 40 years of greatness with a lavish birthday bash at LIV nightclub at Fontainebleau in Miami on Friday. The birthday boy was joined by his friends and collaborators including Lil Wayne, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus, Leah LaBelle, Pusha T, and Teyana Taylor.

His Neptunes producing partner Chad played DJ, getting some help from Kermit the Frog. The crowd serenaded the music mastermind with “Happy Birthday” and presented him with a special cake, designed by Mina Kwon.

His i am OTHER artist Leah LaBelle saluted her mentor. “This man means so much to me. he made my dreams come true. i dreamed this 8 years ago. this is a true moment & my heart is so happy. happy birthday to the best mentor & big brother ever,” she wrote.

One famous fan who couldn’t make it was Tyler, the Creator. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE COOLEST HUMAN TO EVER EXIST. WITHOUT YOU I WOULDNT BE WHERE I AM TODAY, ENJOY IT DUDE! FOREVER STAR TRAK,” tweeted the Odd Future rapper.
