Rihanna is usually the one posing for pictures, but she found herself on the other end of the lens during her trip to Hawaii. The paparazzi snapped the pop princess swimming in the sea, but a clever RiRi decided to get them back, inviting them into the water and turning the cameras on them.

“Me high jackin the PaPz,” wrote RiRi as she held one of the pap’s cameras. “What is life when u make the Papz get in the water and take shotz.”

The countdown is on for Rihanna’s “Where Have You Been” video, which will premiere Monday at 9 a.m. EST on VEVO.

Rihanna keeps teasing with clips from her tribal-inspired video for “Where Have You Been.” In the latest behind-the-scenes footage, we get a closer look at the pop star in action during the epic 17-hour shoot. Dressed as a warrior princess, she shows off her fancy footwork while getting in step with her shirtless male co-stars. In another scene, a curly-haired RiRi joins her female dancers as smoke fills the room.

Rihanna stunned in a fuchsia Marchesa gown and wavy black hair at the TIME 100 gala at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City on Tuesday night. The pop star was named one of the magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World. She performed at the star-studded celebration, which was attended by Hillary Clinton, Jeremy Lin, Tyra Banks, and Chelsea Handler.

Her mother and grandfather proudly watched from the audience. “Well….2nt consisted of us singing Bob Marley, drinkin Vintage Scotch, and my mom thinkin a joke abt Kutcher was appropriate!” tweeted RiRi.

She told reporters on the red carpet that Bob Marley is one of her biggest influences. “I love him. I’m an incredible fan, but not only of his music. I’m a fan of him as an individual, what he really stood up for,” said RiRi, who performed an acoustic version of Bob Marley and the Wailers’ “Redemption Song.”

Yesterday, Rihanna showed you the dance rehearsals for her new video for “Where Have You been.” Today she takes us inside the wardrobe fitting.

“We’ve got a voodoo, tribal ‘Where Have You Been’ here,” said the stylist, while a dancer added, “You gotta take it back to your culture, to your heritage. Every piece makes me feel a bit more closer to nature.”
