In between his smoking sessions with Rihanna in the Dominican Republic, Snoop Dogg serves up the second installment in his That’s My Work series. Hosted by DJ Drama, the 19-track mixtape includes appearances from Erik Sermon, Method Man, and Suga Free.

On December 10, Snoop will release his 7 Days of Funk album under his alter ego Snoopzilla. The project is a collaboration with Dam-Funk.

Snoopzilla Makes His Debut on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’


Snoop Dogg brought his latest reincarnation Snoopzilla to life on Monday night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” The hip-hop superstar, who celebrated his 42nd birthday over the weekend, teamed up with Dam-Funk to debut their new group 7 Days of Funk.

With some help from a live band and Bishop Don Juan, they performed their first single “Faden Away” and another new song called “Do My Thang.”

Snoopzilla, whose name was inspired by Bootsy Collins’s moniker Bootzilla, also sat down to discuss how many blunts he smokes per day (“It’s probably about 75 now”), his cooking specialties (Chef Boyar-D-O-Double-G), and his no guns allowed stance.

On Dec. 10, 7 Days of Funk will release its self-titled debut featuring Daz, Kurupt, and Steve Arrington.

French Montana had everyone from Miley Cyrus to Lil Wayne remixing his street anthem “Ain’t Worried About Nothin.” Now the Coke Boy deals out the official remix featuring Diddy, Rick Ross, and Snoop Dogg.

“I ain’t worried about no banks ’cause I get drug money/ Ni**as talkin’ like they rich ain’t got my son’s money,” boasts “King Combs” on his flashy verse.

They will perform the song at the BET Hip Hop Awards 2013, airing on Oct. 15.

It’s a family affair in the feel-good video for Snoop Lion’s “The Good Good,” the Diane Warren-penned song off his latest album Reincarnated.

The rapper-turned-reggae star spreads peace and love in the all-white visuals, which co-star Snoop’s wife Shante Broadus, three kids (Cori B, Corde, and Cordell), and singer Mali Nicole. The clip doubles as a music video and continuation of Snoop’s ad campaign.

Diddy, Nelly, The Game, & Snoop Dogg Attend ESPY Awards

Hip-hop all-stars mingled with sports MVPs at the 2013 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on Wednesday. The Game, Snoop Dogg, and Nelly rubbed shoulders on the red carpet with athletes including Michael Phelps, Gabby Douglas, and Dwyane Wade.

Diddy brought his son Justin Combs and presented the Best Team award to LeBron James and the Miami Heat, while “SNL” comedian Jay Pharoah drew laughs with his impersonation of Jay-Z as a sports agent.

Game caught up with Reggie Bush backstage. “Two very distinguished gentlemen. Ladies…. you may cream now,” the Compton MC told his followers.

Snoop Lion and Rita Ora Perform ‘Torn Apart’ at Wireless Festival

Rita Ora was a surprise guest during Snoop Lion’s set on Day 1 of the Yahoo! Wireless Festival in London. The blonde bombshell and hip-hop icon performed their dancehall collaboration “Torn Apart” before a crowd of 50,000 at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

“Jumped on with snoop torn apart!! @snoopdogg love uuuuu!” tweeted Rita, who stunned in a green Vionnet dress.

Friday’s bill also included Ke$ha, Frank Ocean, John Legend, Miguel, and Justin Timberlake.
