First Look: Ariana Grande and The Weeknd Team Up in ‘Love Me Harder’ Video

The Weeknd and Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande and The Weeknd went in front of the lens earlier this week to shoot a video for their steamy duet “Love Me Harder.” The pop star took to Twitter to reveal the first photos from the dark and mysterious set.

She rocks her signature cat ears and a long black skirt while standing alongside her Canadian collaborator in an underground stairwell. Hannah Lux Davis, who directed the “Bang Bang” video, is once again at the helm.

The duo performed their collaboration for the first time on the season premiere of “SNL” last weekend.

“Love Me Harder” follows the hits “Problem” and “Break Free” as the third single off Ariana’s chart-topping album My Everything. She will kick off her “Honeymoon Tour” next February.

Check out a few more photos from the set below.

The Weeknd, ScHoolboy Q, & Jhené Aiko Kick Off ‘King of the Fall’ Tour

The Weeknd

No sleep till Brooklyn. The Weeknd kicked off his “King of the Fall” tour at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Friday night. The Canadian crooner was joined by supporting acts ScHoolboy Q and Jhené Aiko on the first date of his four-city tour.

Fresh off the No. 3 debut of her album Souled Out, Aiko warmed up the stage with her soulful songs including “Lyin King,” “Spotless Mind,” and “The Pressure,” as well as material off her EP Sail Out.

TDE’s ScHoolboy Q made a “Gangsta” entrance before performing his Oxymoron singles “Man of the Year,” “Studio,” and his verse on Tinashe’s “2 On.”

He even made light of Kanye West’s recent controversy. “I’m about to get my Kanye West on and make everyone who’s even in a wheelchair get up from sitting down,” joked Q before performing “Collard Greens.”

But all eyes were on The Weeknd, who owned the night, delivering a seductive set that included “Wicked Games” and “Twenty Eight.” He also performed his cover of Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love” and Ty Dolla $ign’s “Or Nah (Remix).”

The tour will play Toronto’s Molson Canadian Amphitheatre on Sept. 21, L.A.’s Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 9, and San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Oct. 10.

Watch XO touch down in the BK.

Video: The Weeknd – ‘King of the Fall’

The Weeknd

XO XO XO. Hot on the heels of his “Often” video, The Weeknd touches down in T-Dot in the dark and provocative video for “King of the Fall.”

The Canadian crooner throws a house party with tons of women (of course) and even ventures outside (gasp) in the daytime with his fashionable crew. He pulls up to an underground party in his G-Class Grey Matic and witnesses plenty of girl-on-girl action.

Look for more new music from The Weeknd later this year. On September 19, he will kick off his four-city “King of the Fall” tour with ScHoolboy Q and Jhené Aiko, with stops in New York, Toronto, L.A., and San Francisco.

Watch him own the night.
