Due to his commitment to NBC’s “The Voice” and his two sons, Ursh has rescheduled his entire “Euphoria” tour until fall 2013. “I truly appreciate and am grateful for your support while I take this time to focus on my children and continue to evolve with my fans,” he recently said.

Music’s biggest stars aligned in the desert for the second annual iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Friday. The first day of the two-day music extravaganza kicked off with performances from Lil Wayne, Usher, No Doubt, Green Day, Rihanna, and more.

Weezy was the sole hip-hop act on the bill, delivering his greatest hits and bringing out Keyshia Cole for “Enough of No Love.” Usher paid homage to Michael Jackson with his choreography during his 25-minute set, serving up his sizzling singles “Climax” and “Burn.”

Shimmering in a Jeremy Scott jersey dress, New Era cap, and Jordans, Rihanna closed out the first day of the festival with an Egyptian-themed set and plenty of hits including “Only Girl (In the World),” “Disturbia,” and “We Found Love.”

The festival continues today with Mary J. Blige, Pitbull, Taylor Swift, Pink, Aerosmith, and more.

After years of trying to get Usher to open up, the R&B superstar finally gave in and invited Oprah to his house in Atlanta for a sit-down interview for “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” He spoke candidly about everything from his custody battle to his divorce from Tameka Foster to why he walked off stage in Berlin (“I felt like I would never perform again”) to being a father to his two sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd. During their lengthy conversation, he also admitted to having a relationship with one of his ex-wife’s bridesmaids after the marriage had ended.

Plus, his mother and former manager Jonetta Patton explained why she did not support her son’s marriage and how she felt about being fired. “I’ve been sad for eight years,” she said, referring to his relationship with Foster.

No question was off limits when Usher sat down with Oprah at his house in Atlanta for “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” In addition to opening up about his divorce and custody battle, Oprah posed the burning question: “Have you or do you make love to your own music?”

The “Climax” singer laughed before confessing, “Some may say this would be rather narcissistic, but yeah,” to which an amused Oprah responded, “If I were you, I would.”

During their sit-down interview, he also shared what he saw in Justin Bieber. “I saw a future of an artist that was very bright based off of his passion,” said Ursh of his 18-year-old protégé. “I saw the potential of success. It was really always left up to him and I always told him that.”
