Amerie was among the celebrities in attendance at Saturday’s 3rd Annual “Hot in Hollywood” event benefiting HIV/AIDS held at Avalon in Los Angeles and hosted by actress America Ferrera.

Amerie is currently working on her fourth studio album for Island Def Jam. No I.D. is among the producers she is working with.

Yung Berg has recorded a song with Amerie called “Get Your Number” for his debut Look What You Made Me (August 12). The club banger was produced by Boogz and could be a potential single. See the tracklisting for Berg’s album here.

Amerie attended and performed at the 36th AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Thursday. She filled in for Mya performing “Ghetto Supastar” with Pras in honor of actor Warren Beatty (Bulworth).

The R&B singer reportedly signed a new record deal with Island Def Jam. She is currently in the studio with producer NO ID (Usher and Jay-Z’s “Best Thing”). Look for our interview with NO ID next week.
