Video: Ariana Grande f/ The Weeknd – ‘Love Me Harder’

Ariana Grande and The Weeknd

After taking a trip to outer space in “Break Free,” Ariana Grande seduces the screen in the dark and mysterious video for The Weekend-assisted ballad “Love Me Harder,” the third single off her sophomore album My Everything.

The pop diva and Canadian crooner show off their chemistry as they duet with their backs to each other. Sporting her signature cat ears, Ariana plays in the sand and lays in a pool of water (“I’m laying down in every music video ever,” she joked), while The Weeknd emerges from the shadows. J.Lo’s ex-boyfriend Beau “Casper” Smart served as choreographer for the Hannah Lux Davis-directed clip.

“Our visuals are really about this tug of war of loving harder and the compromise of giving in and needing more and wanting more, and just honesty,” explained Davis, who directed the “Bang Bang” video.

On February 25, Ariana will kick off her 25-date “Honeymoon Tour” in Kansas City, Mo.
