Nelly hosted the 3rd Annual Black & White Ball in St. Louis over the weekend. The gala drew Ashanti and her family, Jermaine Dupri, and performers Boyz II Men. Two students were awarded with full-tuition scholarships.

Ashanti was shining from head-to-toe atop the New York Daily News float at the 82nd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on Thursday. Watch her perform “Shine” below.

“I’m all about family. Everyone comes over. I do about 80% of the cooking. I do the big bird, do the cabbage, do the mac & cheese, do a special orange chicken—that’s my special secret recipe,” the 28-year-old singer told the New York paper about her Thanksgiving plans.

Hennessy hosted an invitation-only concert in Chicago on Thursday as part of its 3rd Annual Hennessy Artistry Concert Series. The Chi-Town event featured a performance from Ashanti with special guest DJs Sky Nellor and DJ Kiss.

In case you still didn’t get enough of them, Nelly, Ashanti, and Akon made their third live appearance together on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” this Monday. Universal Motown is really trying to move some units of Brass Knuckles.

AJM Records will release The Vault, a collection of 12 never-before-released recordings from Ashanti, on October 14th. The Vault contains vocal recordings penned by Ashanti in 2001 while she was signed exclusively to AJM Records.

The first single off the album is called “Let’s Do Something Crazy.” It features Flo Rida and was crafted by 15-year-old producer Miguel “Migs” Baeza.
