Chris Brown’s list of collaborators keeps growing. Last night, the R&B singer was in the studio with “I Love College” rapper Asher Roth recording for his fourth album F.A.M.E. “ME AND ASHER ROTH ARE WORKING TOGETHER FOR MY ALBUM!!!! dope,” tweeted Breezy, who’s recently been in the lab with Game, Wiz Khalifa, and Pitbull.

Asher himself is working on his sophomore album, The Spaghetti Tree, with Pharrell, Nottz, Organized Noize, and Ryan Leslie. “It’s a story,” he previously told Rap-Up.com. “Hopefully it’s going to be a film. The presentation on it is more important than anything else. It’s a story based on real events that stresses the importance of imagination.”

Rap-Up TV: Asher Roth Talks Second Album, Hoedowns with Pharrell

Asher Roth just wants to have fun and “make music just to make music” on his sophomore album The Spaghetti Tree, due early next year. He shares some of the producers who are supporting his cause including Swizz Beatz, Ryan Leslie, Organized Noize, and Pharrell, while Game and Kardinal Offishall are among the collaborators on the follow-up to his 2009 debut.

“He’s the man. He really is a genius,” Asher tells Rap-Up TV of Pharrell. “I haven’t been around many people who can harness energy and harness ideas and turn it into musical language like he can.”

The “G.R.I.N.D.” rapper reveals one record in particular he did with the N.E.R.D. frontman called “Cheat So Bad” in light of the recent Brett Favre scandal. “That record is super fun and kinda hoedown-ish.”
