Brazilians wondering why their country was so hot can blame Alicia Keys and Beyoncé. The sizzling superstars turned up the temperature in Rio de Janeiro Tuesday (Feb. 9) to shoot the video for their collaboration “Put It in a Love Song.”

The South American city’s colorful backdrop served as the setting for the visuals to the third single from Keys’ Element of Freedom album. The clip is being directed by Melina, who’s teaming with Keys for the first time, and features vibrant Carnival-inspired outfits.

Beyoncé brings her A-game to VIZIO’s Super Bowl commercial promoting the LCD HDTV company’s new line of Internet-connected televisions. The multi-million-dollar spot, which debuted during the fourth quarter of Super Bowl XLIV, was directed by Oscar-nominated cinematographer Wally Pfister (The Dark Knight) and co-stars YouTube sensations.

Beyoncé surprised many when the private singer publicly acknowledged her husband Jay-Z during her acceptance speech at the Grammys. “I’d love to thank my family for all of their support, including my husband. I love you,” she said during Sunday’s show.

B explained the candid moment to “Access Hollywood.” “It was because I was so happy. I looked up and he was the first face I saw, and I was like, ‘What did I just do?’” she laughed.

And what did Jay tell his Grammy-winning wife? “He said you have six Grammys and you smell good.”

Hoards of fans gathered at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City on Wednesday (Feb. 3) for the launch of Beyoncé Heat. B posed for photos and signed autographs for the first fans to purchase her new fragrance, including Michael Weiss who planted a kiss on his idol’s cheek.
