Queen Bey was joined by the queen of rap during the “On the Run Tour” in Paris on Friday. Nicki Minaj hit the stage to perform the “Flawless (Remix)” with Beyoncé for the first time live. Matching Bey in Versus Versace, Nicki spit her explosive verse as the words “curvalicious” and “delicious” appeared on the giant screen behind her.

“The QUEEN, could never thank you enough,” tweeted Nicki, who posed for a selfie with Bey.

Beyoncé, Jay Z, & Blue Ivy Escape to Italy

Jay Z and Beyoncé

In celebration of Beyoncé’s 33rd birthday last week, the Carters escaped to Italy for a romantic and relaxing vacation. Jay Z put his arm around his wife as they strolled through the seaside town of Portofino before boarding a boat to their yacht. Bey looked casual, yet chic in a floral-print bikini and sarong, while Jay kept cool in shorts.

Once on board their private yacht, Blue Ivy had some fun, playing with water balloons, while her mother snapped photos.

The couple will return to the stage for the final two shows on their “On the Run Tour” in Paris on September 12-13. The concerts will be taped for an HBO special airing September 20.

Beyoncé Goes Behind the Scenes of VMA Performance

Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, and Jay Z

It takes a village. A day after celebrating her 33rd birthday, Beyoncé shares some behind-the-scenes footage from her epic MTV Video Music Awards performance. From the choreography to the stage design, we get a first-hand look at all the hard work and team effort that went into putting together the 15-minute medley.

During rehearsals, Bey expresses her frustration about not getting to run through the performance enough times and demands that her dancers paint their bodies white. Shortly before hitting the stage, we see her holding hands with her crew and leading them in a prayer circle.

“God, we imagined being little kids dreaming of this night and we are here,” she says.

After killing her performance and accepting the Video Vanguard Award, she goes backstage and toasts with Jay Z and her team, but it’s Blue Ivy who gives her the best feedback. “Everybody say good job,” says her two-year-old daughter.

Beyoncé and Jay Z Cozy Up at Made in America Festival

Jay Z and Beyoncé

Beyoncé and Jay Z are shutting the divorce rumors all the way down. Following their appearance at the MTV VMAs, the Carters cozied up on Day 2 of the Budweiser Made in America Festival in L.A. on Sunday. In between sets from Rita Ora, Chance the Rapper, and Cypress Hill, the Roc Nation mogul was spotted on the grounds at Grand Park.

Clad in his “OTR” tour gear and a hat, he joined the crowd while watching Steve Aoki’s EDM set alongside his wife and L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti.

The couple also made its way to the main stage to check out John Mayer and Kanye West on the steps of City Hall. While watching from a balcony, Jay wrapped his arms around Mrs. Carter, who lovingly gazed into her husband’s eyes.

During one of his famous rants, Kanye acknowledged Jay’s role in putting the festival together. “I don’t want to go over the top with it out of respect for my big homie Jay Z,” said ‘Ye.

Jay celebrated a successful end to the first-ever L.A. festival and third annual Philly fest. “L.A. the people have spoken! No major incidents just GREAT music. 70k 2 days. Philly 3x Made in America. In the heart of both cities! 90k,” he tweeted.

Rap-Up TV: Jasmine V Talks Kendrick Lamar, Debut EP, & Love for Beyoncé

Three years after releasing her mixtape S(he) Be(lie)ve(d), Jasmine V has inked a deal with Interscope Records and is readying her debut EP. The 20-year-old L.A. singer, who starred alongside Justin Bieber in his “Baby” video, has amassed 1.7 million Twitter followers along the way and scored a coveted feature from Kendrick Lamar on her new single “That’s Me Right There.”

But the collaboration came as a surprise to many including Jasmine herself. “I didn’t believe it at first. I was like, ‘Something great happening to me, really?’” she told Rap-Up TV during a recent studio session. “I was trying to not get too excited about it, so I just let it ride out.”

One day, her management played her the mixed track, which she thought she had already heard. “We were listening to it and everybody pulls out their cell phones and cameras and they’re recording me and I’m just sitting there like, ‘This is weird.’ I heard the Kendrick verse pop up and I was just like, ‘What?’ I looked around and made sure nobody in the room was rapping or trying to be funny. But when it sunk in, I was like, ‘This is amazing.’”

Last month, she shot the video with Kendrick and director Gil Green. “It was great. He’s amazing,” she said of the TDE rapper. “So low key and he’s so quiet, but he’s such a humble guy. I was definitely honored and blessed to be on the same set as him.”

She plans to drop her as-yet-untitled EP later this summer featuring contributions from Harmony Samuels, Sam Hook, Soundz, Jeremih, Problem, and Ne-Yo.

While she’s been inspired by many artists, her favorite is Alicia Keys. “She’s my idol,” gushed Jasmine. “If I ever even just got to be in the same room with her, I’d go crazy. I love her. She’s beautiful, naturally pretty, she plays instruments, she writes songs, she sings awesome.”

She’s also a proud member of the BeyHive. “I saw [Beyoncé] in concert and I almost fainted. It was like seeing somebody that wasn’t from this planet,” she said.

A collaboration with Nicki Minaj is also at the top of her wish list. “Everything she puts out is amazing. So I feel like if she hopped on one of my songs, it would just make it that much better.”
