You know you’ve arrived when you get your own “Saturday Night Live” skit. Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter was at the center of a parody starring Maya Rudolph (Beyoncé) and Jay Pharoah (Jay-Z). The famous couple were visited by some familiar faces including Prince, LL Cool J, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, and Bon Iver, played by Justin Timberlake.

Even Nicki Minaj (Nasim Pedrad) stopped by to sing a lullaby inspired by her Grammy performance. But it didn’t go over too well with Blue’s folks.

“Nicki please, you’re scaring him,” said Beyoncé. “Him? I thought Blue was a girl,” responded Nicki.

“No, I meant Prince,” said B.

Following the tragic loss of Whitney Houston, Beyoncé reflects on the “ultimate woman” who helped open doors for singers like herself. Her publicist has issued the following statement.

“The loss of Whitney Houston is painful. I remember meeting Whitney for the first time when I was 15. She was the ultimate legend. The ultimate woman. Not only was she confident, poised, stunningly beautiful and intelligent, but she was sincere and kind. She took the time to make everyone feel like they were very important to her. I, like every singer, always wanted to be just like her. Her voice was perfect. Strong but soothing. Soulful and classic. Her vibrato, her cadence, her control. So many of my life’s memories are attached to a Whitney Houston song. She is our queen and she opened doors and provided a blueprint for all of us. God bless her.”

She’s here! Blue Ivy Carter makes her big debut in a series of photos posted online. The adorable daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z is too precious for words. The month-old baby, who already has a full head of hair, stares into her mother’s eyes in one photo and is cradled by her father is another.

The superstar couple revealed the photos themselves on their websites instead of selling them. “We welcome you to share in our joy,” they wrote. “Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives.”

B.I.C. has already charted on Billboard as a featured guest on her father’s song “Glory” and she even has her own Tumblr page. Look out world!

After her red-hot return last night, Beyoncé stepped out again on Tuesday evening to attend Jay-Z’s second Carnegie Hall show in New York City. Flaunting her curvy post-baby body, the stunning singer turned the parking garage into a catwalk as she strutted to her awaiting vehicle.

The new mom shimmered in a Monique Lhuillier dress with Gucci heels, a Chanel purse, and blue nails and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry in honor of her daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who just turned one month old.

B and her mother Tina Knowles recently designed a House of Deréon T-shirt in support President Obama’s Runway to Win campaign.

Looking radiant in a red Alice Temperly dress, Ofira and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, Alexander McQueen clutch, and Christian Louboutin heels, Blue Ivy’s mother made her way to VIP, where she mingled with well wishers following Jay-Z’s historic concert at Carnegie Hall. Kelly Rowland couldn’t be happier for Beyoncé. E! caught up with the “Motivation” singer at the Hpnotiq Harmonie and Live Louder kickoff party last night in Hollywood. A beaming Kelly was overcome with joy when speaking about her BFF’s three-week-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

“She is just more precious than a diamond. She’s just so stunning,” gushed Kelly. “I’m so happy for my sister and her husband. She’s beautiful.”

The new parents are in heaven. “She’s an incredible mother. I’m so incredibly proud of her, so proud of her,” added Kelly. “She’s in mommyville and I’m so happy for her and her husband’s in daddyville, and the baby is very beautiful.”

Etta James inspired a generation of vocalists. One of her most famous fans, Beyoncé, has issued a statement following the passing of the blues legend. Beyoncé portrayed James in the 2008 film Cadillac Records, for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe, and covered her classic “At Last.”
