Big Sean and Kid Cudi Perform ‘First Chain’ on ‘Fallon’

Kid Cudi and Big Sean

It was a G.O.O.D. Music reunion when Big Sean teamed up with Kid Cudi on Friday’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” Fresh off “The Cud Life” tour, the Detroit MC performed “First Chain” with his former labelmate and The Roots.

Rocking a Jesus piece and Timberlands, Sean reflected on his humble beginnings on the autobiographical record off his sophomore album Hall of Fame, while Cudi did his silly dance and laid down some harmonies.

While they may no longer be on the same label, they will always remain friends. “It just goes to show that it’s deeper than an imprint on a piece of paper,” Sean told Rap-Up TV. “We’re brothers and sometimes business may not always work out, but it’s deeper than that.”

See them stunt on late night.

The Game

Nearly a year after releasing his album Jesus Piece, The Game debuts the video for his D’Angelo-sampled single “All That (Lady)” featuring Lil Wayne, Big Sean, Fabolous, and Jeremih.

The Compton MC shows a softer side in the Ben Griffin-directed clip, which was shot over the summer in L.A. He caters to his special lady and even gives her a foot massage in one intimate scene.

Weezy nor Fabolous make an appearance, but Big Sean and Jeremih come through.

After releasing his mixtape OKE last month, Cash Money’s newest signee is working on his sixth album.

See Game take it from the streets to the sheets.

Video: Ariana Grande f/ Big Sean – ‘Right There’

Ariana Grande

Destiny awaits Ariana Grande in the Romeo and Juliet-inspired video for “Right There” featuring Big Sean. On the eve of Halloween, the 20-year-old diva throws a masquerade ball at a lavish mansion in the visuals for the third single off her debut Yours Truly. She plays Juliet, while Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son Patrick stars as Romeo.

Ariana gets dolled up in a ball gown and locks eyes with her prince when he enters the room. They share a steamy love scene in the pool, while fireworks light up the night sky.

Meanwhile, Big Sean plays the priest, spitting his holy bars in a church.

But unlike the real Romeo and Juliet, this story has a happy ending. Watch the star-crossed lovers meet in the modern-day romance.

Chris Brown, Meek Mill, Kendrick Lamar, & Nicki Minaj Perform at Philly Powerhouse

Chris Brown

Hip-hop and R&B’s biggest stars came together for Power 99′s Powerhouse 2013 in Philadelphia on Friday. The star-studded concert included performances from Chris Brown, Kendrick Lamar, Wale, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, K. Michelle, Mario, Ace Hood, Sevyn Streeter, and Philly’s own Meek Mill.

The MMG rapper put on for his hometown by bringing out Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Jadakiss, and French Montana during his headlining set.

Despite his tweet from earlier in the day (“Aye @kendricklamar ima show you who king on this side at powerhouse Friday!”), he shrugged off any beef between him and the Compton MC.

“Me and Kendrick, we cool guys,” Meek told Mina SayWhat backstage. “When I see Kendrick, we smile and laugh about it. No negative stuff.”

Chris Brown ripped the Wells Fargo Center with his hits including “Fine China” and “Love More,” while 2 Chainz turned up with Big Sean for “All Me.”

In addition to burning up the stage, the Atlanta rapper is also cooking up a potential culinary show. “People have approached me. We’ll see,” said 2 Chainz, whose sophomore album B.O.A.T.S. II includes a cookbook.

Naya Rivera Reveals Halloween Costumes for Her and Big Sean

With Halloween around the corner, Naya Rivera has been thinking of costumes. She and her fiancé Big Sean are planning to dress up as a couple this year. They’ve already discussed some ideas, which she shared with Rap-Up TV.

“If we do go, Sean and I kinda wanted to be Cleopatra and Pharaoh, but I don’t know if he’s gonna wanna go shirtless and wear a skirt,” said the “Sorry” singer, who may attend her “Glee” co-star Matthew Morrison’s party.

But if that doesn’t work out, they’re considering another less glamorous idea. “Maybe we’ll just be ketchup and mustard,” she laughed.

In the past, she’s dressed up in a group. “One year we were all the Rugrats and last year we were all Looney Tunes.”

What should they wear? Weigh in below.

Big Sean Talks Justin Bieber, Wedding, & Eminem with DJ Skee

Big Sean

G.O.O.D. Music was in the building when Big Sean stopped by AXS TV’s “SKEE Live” in L.A. on Tuesday. While his fans watched from outside the studio, the newly-engaged rapper sat down with DJ Skee to discuss his philosophy on life, his favorite sneakers (BAPE adidas), and growing up in Detroit.

He also addressed critics, who claim he sold out by working with pop acts like Justin Bieber. “Fuck that shit. I don’t care about that,” said Sean. “I feel like I worked too hard to not get paper and work with the biggest artists in the world. It’s not like I compromised myself on it.”

The Hall of Fame rapper, who is engaged to Naya Rivera, wouldn’t reveal when he’s getting married, but did thank his fans for their support. “Thanks for those good wishes,” he said.

Over the summer, he hit the studio with his Detroit idol Eminem, but they have yet to record a collaboration. “We were scheduled to record it, but we didn’t get to it yet,” he said. “I’m sure we’ll connect. But they show love, they support. He looked at me and told me, ‘I listen to you, I support you.’”

Check out highlights from the interview below.
