On Set of Birdman, R. Kelly, & Lil Wayne’s ‘We Been On’ Video

R. Kelly, Birdman, and Mack Maine

R. Kelly and Birdman put their differences aside and reunited on set of the video for Rich Gang’s single “We Been On” earlier this month. The YMCMB crew including Lil Wayne and Mack Maine took over a mansion with some sexy ladies. Birdman and Kellz appeared to be having a good time, sharing a laugh as they watched the monitor.

Ten years after scrapping their Best of Both Worlds joint album, they made up and collaborated on the record for the Rich Gang compilation.

“I was in the studio and we talked man to man,” the Cash Money boss told “Tony Sculfield and the Morning Riot.” “We just kept it moving. Kelly, he do what it do when it comes to this music thing. … I know he never got a chance to work with Wayne, so I wanted to add Wayne to that.”
