Video: Black Eyed Peas – ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’

Fergie

The Black Eyed Peas do it guerilla style in Japan in the video for “Just Can’t Get Enough,” the second single off their latest album The Beginning. Will.i.am, Fergie, Taboo, and apl.de.ap shot the video one week before a devastating earthquake and tsunami struck the country. A message is included before the video that says, “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Japan. We love you.” At the end, viewers are encouraged to donate to the Red Cross to help the victims.

“It was the easiest video I ever shot because it was us living our lives,” explains Fergie of the Ben Mor-directed visuals. “I love that it’s showing a true perspective of how it can sometimes be lonely on the road away from our loved ones. It also demonstrates the love and connection we have with Japan. Our heart goes out to all of the Japanese people who have been affected by this natural disaster.”

Black Eyed Peas Kick Off Super Bowl Press Conference

Black Eyed Peas

Black Eyed Peas leader will.i.am may have sold millions of records throughout his lengthy career, but music wasn’t always the end goal. Appearing with Fergie, Taboo, and apl.de.ap at a press conference in Dallas, Texas, for their halftime performance during this Sunday’s Super Bowl XLV, the group’s frontman revealed he once had hopes of playing for the NFL.

“I wanted to play football until I got a concussion,” said will, rocking circular shads, a tan jacket with a black cuff around his upper arm, and black pants.

Apl.de.ap showed off his football spirit with the words “BEP” and “XLV” carefully shaved into the back of his head. The quartet, who will rock with Usher and Slash during the halftime show, declared that they were proud to be the “first multicultural hip-hop band” to grace the stage and that they would tone down the sex factor to avoid controversy.

“You want to give a little sex appeal, but you don’t want to get in trouble,” explained Fergie at the media event.
