The Black Eyed Peas jetted in from their South American tour to Harpo Studios in Chicago to perform their brand new single “The Time (The Dirty Bit)” on Oprah’s “Favorite Things” episode. Emerging from a giant snow globe, the white-hot group got the audience on its feet with the upbeat jam from their new album The Beginning, later bringing out a choir to join them for a remix to the Christmas classic “Little Drummer Boy.”

Sneak Peek: Black Eyed Peas – ‘Do It Like This!’

Do It Like This!

The Black Eyed Peas kick it old school in the preview for their online-only “Do It Like This!” video, where the quartet turns into 8-bit characters in the Nintendo-inspired clip. Playing like a classic arcade game, the animated vid shows each of the Peas bopping up and down at the bottom of the screen while their lyrics scroll above them. New Music: Black Eyed Peas – ‘Do It Like This!’

Do It Like This!

The Black Eyed Peas mix techno, pop, hip-hop, and house music on “Do It Like This!,” a five-and-a-half minute dance party from their new album The Beginning. Will.i.am calls out groupies and praises his beatmaking skills while Fergie busts a few bars. The hip-hop beat switches up midway for the more club-minded set.

The Peas frontman describes the beat as “harder than any attitude… It goes to a place no hip-hopper would go to right now.”

Fergie, will, Taboo, and apl.de.ap will release a song each week on iTunes leading up to their album release on November 30.

Album Covers: The Black Eyed Peas – ‘The Beginning’ [Standard + Deluxe]

The Beginning Standard Cover

The Black Eyed Peas take it back to The Beginning with the standard and deluxe covers of their sixth album, arriving November 30. The Fantastic Four get computerized makeovers on the official artwork portraying pixelated versions of will.i.am, Fergie, Taboo, and apl.de.ap.

The first single “The Time (The Dirty Bit),” which samples the 1987 theme from Dirty Dancing, kicks off the party. “The song is a celebration of this amazing time in our lives,” says Fergie.

The Beginning will be released as a standard CD, a deluxe CD with three bonus songs, a full album vinyl, and a combo two-disc set of 20 songs that includes The Beginning and The Best of The E.N.D.
