B.o.B’s new album Underground Luxury is on the way, but he continues to release visuals off last year’s Strange Clouds. In the latest video for “Chandelier,” the ATLien gives us a peek into his jet-setting lifestyle, traveling around the world with his team in the personal footage.
It also serves as a showcase for his Atlantic Records labelmate Lauriana Mae. The blonde beauty lights up the screen in a sparkly dress as she performs against a giant chandelier.
Mae has been debuting videos as part of her “Month of Mae” series. Her three-song EP Love Mae was released in November featuring the single “Money Mae.”
The party don’t stop. Ciara invites her boo Future and B.o.B for the remix to her Mike WiLL Made It-produced single “Body Party.” The Freebandz rapper kicks off the “RichMix,” rapping over a sped-up sample of Ghost Town DJ’s “My Boo,” while B.o.B adds a verse for the clubs.
Also check out a behind-the-scenes clip from the “Body Party” video.
Ciara’s self-titled album is due July 9 featuring Nicki Minaj and Future.
B.o.B proves that he can perform with Taylor Swift, but still be ratchet on his twerking anthem “HeadBand” featuring 2 Chainz.
“Drop that ass down,” commands the Atlanta rapper over the whistling DJ Mustard-produced beat.
The single hits iTunes on May 21, while B.o.B’s third album Underground Luxury is due later this summer.
“This project is a lot more effortless than anything because I’ve really shown the full spectrum of what I can do musically, so now I’m just having fun with it. I’m 24 years old, so I’m partying,” B.o.B told Rap-Up TV.
T.I. rounds up the troops on Hustle Gang’s first mixtape G.D.O.D. (Get Dough or Die), hosted by DJ Drama and DJ MLK. “The mixtape is just a prelude to what you will see in the near future,” said Grand Hustle chief Tip. “We gon’ turn up in grand fashion in all suckers’ faces and we ain’t gon’ let up, period.”
The Hustle Gang album will follow in September/October.
Hustle Gang was in the building on Friday’s episode of “106 & Park.” T.I., B.o.B, Young Dro, Trae Tha Truth, and Kris Stephens took over the set to promote the Hustle Gang mixtape G.D.O.D., which arrives May 7.
Grand Hustle chief’s Tip held court on the couch to discuss touring with Lil Wayne on the “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival,” which kicks off July 9 in Birmingham, AL. He also announced that 2 Chainz has officially joined the lineup.
After chatting about the “Memories Back Then” video and working with Kendrick Lamar, he was joined by B.o.B. and the rest of the gang (minus Iggy Azalea, Travi$ Scott, and Chip).
“The mixtape is just a prelude to what you will see in the near future. We gon’ turn up in grand fashion in all suckers’ faces and we ain’t gon’ let up, period,” said Tip, while B.o.B added, “It’s an amazing project because you got all these artists bringing our best material together on one project—it’s phenomenal.”
Just days before the May 7 release of the Hustle Gang mixtape G.D.O.D., B.o.B serves up another round with the super-charged remix to “We Still in This Bitch” featuring Young Jeezy, Young Dro, and Yo Gotti. Get turnt up and watch the trailer for G.D.O.D. below.
T.I. has announced a May 7 release date for the Hustle Gang mixtape G.D.O.D. (Get Dough or Die). The project will feature contributions from the gang including B.o.B, Trae Tha Truth, Travi$ Scott, Iggy Azalea, and Kris Stephens.
There will also be collaborations outside the camp. In an interview with DJ Skee, Tip revealed the guest list including French Montana, Mystikal, Problem, and possibly Pharrell.
Earlier this week, Tip debuted the video for “Memories Back Then” featuring B.o.B, Kendrick Lamar, and Kris Stephens.
The Hustle Gang album is due in September/October followed by the sequel to Trouble Man in December.
T.I. takes a trip out west with Hustle Gang in the video for “Memories Back Then” featuring B.o.B, Kendrick Lamar, and Kris Stephens. The MCs share personal stories involving women from their past in the Phillyflyboy-directed clip, which was filmed throughout Los Angeles.
T.I. and B.o.B soak up the sun beachside at the Santa Monica Pier, Kendrick strolls on the 6th Street Bridge downtown, and they all meet up in the Hollywood Hills.
The song, which is slated to appear on the upcoming Hustle Gang compilation, originally sampled Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.” “I rocked out as soon as I heard it. It felt relevant, it felt urgent,” Tip told Rap-Up TV. “However, I was not able to work out a clearance… I didn’t want to waste the opportunity because it was such a great performance and meaningful message from myself and B.o.B and Kendrick.”
Before the compilation drops, Hustle Gang will release the mixtape G.D.O.D: The Introduction in May.
