New Music: B.o.B f/ Sevyn Streeter – ‘Swing My Way’

No Genre Pt. 2

Following their “John Doe” remix, B.o.B and Sevyn Streeter team up once again on “Swing My Way,” a cover of K.P. & Envyi’s 1998 hit of the same name.

The song is the first offering from B.o.B’s upcoming mixtape No Genre Pt. 2, which drops July 9.

The tape is also set to feature an appearance from Mila J. Plus, B.o.B was recently spotted in the studio with Ashanti and Lil Wayne.

T.I., B.o.B, and Spodee are the “Chosen” ones in the video for Hustle Gang’s new single. When their homie gets out of jail, the fellas celebrate in grand style. They pick him up and ride through the streets of ATL. After changing into their dapper outfits, they hit up a masquerade party with wall-to-wall women.

“When you come up from the bottom, that just mean that you was chosen,” sings B.o.B.

T.I. is readying his album Paperwork and will drop his new single “No Mediocre” featuring Hustle Gang’s first lady Iggy Azalea this month.

In the Dennis Liu-directed clip, Bobby Ray raps on top of a soapbox and in front of a wall of cash, while showing the faces of others who are also motivated by the dollar sign.

B.o.B breathes new life into his Underground Luxury single “John Doe” with his remix featuring Sevyn Streeter. The “nEXt” singer fills in for Priscilla Renea on the reworked version, which boasts new production.

Bobby Ray also performed an acoustic rendition of the song with another one of his Atlantic labelmates, JoJo.

Be on the lookout for No Genre, Pt. 2, the sequel to B.o.B’s 2010 mixtape No Genre, coming this summer.

A day after releasing his new single “Drankin Patna,” T-Pain shakes up the strip club with his remix to “Up Down (Do This All Day)” featuring B.o.B, Kid Ink, and Lil Boosie, who steals the show with his sexually-explicit verse.

T-Pain plans to drop a second remix to the Stoicville song. He previously told Rap-Up TV that he was trying to get Rihanna, André 3000, Snoop Dogg, and 2 Chainz, but we’ll have to wait and see if he pulled it off.

B.o.B and JoJo Perform Acoustic Version of ‘John Doe’

Now that she’s part of the Atlantic Records family, JoJo joined her new labelmate B.o.B for a special acoustic performance of “John Doe,” the latest single off his album Underground Luxury.

With Bobby Ray on guitar, the Boston singer filled in for Priscilla Renea, belting out the cautionary tune before an intimate crowd.

JoJo has been working on her oft-delayed third album and will play the Broccoli City Festival in L.A. on May 3.
