New Music: B.o.B – ‘Put On (Freestyle)’

B.o.B keeps firing out freestyles. Following Lil Wayne and Drake’s “Love Me,” the ATLien takes it back to 2008 with Young Jeezy’s “Put On.” Bobby Ray raps about his “young and reckless” ways and tells his haters to “shut the fuck up.”

He also teases his upcoming album Underground Luxury. “I’ll see ya’ll hos this summer.”

T.I. is on fire, literally, in the video for “Problems,” a cut off the Hustle Gang mixtape G.D.O.D. (Get Dough or Die). The King of the South ignites the screen alongside B.o.B, Problem, and Trae Tha Truth in the gritty clip, which was filmed inside an industrial warehouse.

Tip kicked off the “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival” with Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz earlier this week.

B.o.B pens the “realest shit [he] ever wrote” with his freestyle to Lil Wayne and Drake’s “Love Me.” The Hustle Gang rapper spews about the industry and his troubled childhood (“I was so depressed, always upset”) on the confessional song.

“That’s why my attitude is fuck the world/ I see most of these rappers as a bunch of girls,” raps B.o.B. “I done made more money off a single album than you’ll probably ever see throughout your whole career.”

B.o.B brings out the twerk team in the video for his DJ Mustard-produced single “HeadBand.” The Hustle Gang rapper holds auditions for twerking on the front lawn of a suburban Atlanta house in the Busby Berkeley-inspired clip. The ladies show off their moves on beach towels as Bobby Ray and 2 Chainz kick back and enjoy the view with a bottle of champagne.

B.o.B’s third album Underground Luxury is due later this summer. “This project is a lot more effortless than anything because I’ve really shown the full spectrum of what I can do musically, so now I’m just having fun with it. I’m 24 years old, so I’m partying,” B.o.B told Rap-Up TV.

Behind the Video: B.o.B f/ 2 Chainz – ‘HeadBand’

2 Chainz and B.o.B

B.o.B took over a quiet neighborhood in ATL while shooting a video for his single “HeadBand.” Directed by Ryan Patrick, the clip features lots of twerking ladies and some under-leg camera angles inspired by choreographer Busby Berkeley. Bobby Ray performed on the front porch of a house and 2 Chainz joined him for a barbecue on the lawn.

His third album Underground Luxury is due later this summer. “This project is a lot more effortless than anything because I’ve really shown the full spectrum of what I can do musically, so now I’m just having fun with it. I’m 24 years old, so I’m partying,” B.o.B told Rap-Up TV.
