Bow Wow celebrates new beginnings in the futuristic video for “Sweat,” the first single from his Cash Money debut Underrated, due March 13. The 24-year-old rapper is joined by his YMCMB family including Lil Wayne and Birdman in the CGI visuals. He rides through in a Bugatti, while his female co-star takes a guitar and smashes his plaques.

“Each of these plaques resembles my old albums,” explained Bow Weezy. “She gonna take the guitar and she gon’ smash all of ‘em. It’s representing a new beginning, my coming up with YMCMB. Out with the old, in with the new plaques.”

“106 & Park” dedicated Monday’s show to Mr. “106 & Park” himself, Bow Wow. Some of his peers and friends in the industry including Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, and Jermaine Dupri took a trip down memory lane with the Cash Money rapper during the episode.

His mentor J.D., who made on on-air appearance, recounted the first time he saw Bow rapping on stage when he was known as Lil Gangsta, and Snoop shared why he gave him his name. “He was named Lil Bow Wow because his spirit was just like mine,” explained Snoop in a videotaped message. “He was like the equivalent of me. I didn’t have no kids at the time, so to me, he embellished everything that I imagined my son would be.”

Chris Brown recalled meeting his BFF on the “Scream” tour six years ago. “[He's] one of the only people I can consider my friend in the industry… He’s a real person,” said Chris. “He deals with day-to-day problems just like me. Me and him have more of an understanding of life from being normal and in the spotlight. We can indentify with having to deal with those types of pressures. I think we gon’ be boys for a long time.”

The man of the hour got plenty of camera time and spoke about his upcoming album Underrated, which features Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Musiq Soulchild, and Boyz II Men. “I just feel like I’ve accomplished a lot in my career, but still people might overlook it or if they forgot, then I think it’s time for me to remind them of who really was the first person since Kriss Kross to rejuvenize this whole thing.”

Bow Wow lights one up on “Yeah Yeah,” a collaboration with Lloyd Banks off his forthcoming Cash Money debut Underrated. “Yeah yeah, we smokin’ real big/ Haters mad ’cause they girls on our dick,” he raps, boasting about his lavish lifestyle. Prior to the release of his album, the 24-year-old rapper will hit the road on a worldwide tour starting next month in Europe.

Bow Wow’s album Underrated quietly disappeared from the December release schedule. Now the 24-year-old rapper explains why he decided to push his Cash Money debut back, blaming himself and not his label. In an open letter to his fans, he says that touring and shooting his Ice Cube-produced sitcom have contributed to the delay. He wants to take more time to perfect things before releasing what he calls his best album yet.

“Underrated is a classic. This is my best work,” writes Bow Wow, who is trying to get India.Arie to sing on the song “Boy or Girl.” “Its taking so long because im putting my all into it.”

He also shot down a report by TMZ saying that he owes the government over $91,000 in unpaid taxes from 2006. “TMZ saying they are about to runa story on me thats once again ‘Not True’ as im sitting in my beautiful condo as of RIGHT NOW that they said i dont have anymore,” he says.

Underrated Album “Whats The Hold Up”

Its two ten in the morning and im up watching Soul Train. Before i get into what i came here for, TMZ saying they are about to runa story on me thats once again “Not True” as im sitting in my beautiful condo as of RIGHT NOW that they said i dont have anymore. (Bow Wow with no home thats like a whore that doesn’t like d**k) We all know not to believe anything the media writes or blogs its their job to entertain the minds of the simple minded. But on to whats important, “UNDERRATED” everyone wants to know why its delayed or why is it getting pushed back. I hear yall jokes “His shit aint never droppin” it is dropping. “When I Feel like its right tho” my album sounds nothing like what you’ve heard come out of the camp PERIOD so far. I know yall want this album just as much as i want to deliver it. The thing is tour just ended like 3 n half weeks ago. I left studio to tour which of course set me back. I have to mix all the records which i have just now kinda started. “Sweat” video will be out in a week or 2. Took a minute to finalize all the graphics and detail because of the CGI effects. Also dont forget im stil working on my tv sitcom with Ice Cube as well. I think people forget i got 2 jobs (Rapper/Ator) hahaha.. Record just went to radio as well. Not only that but im trying to get India Irie to sing on “Boy Or Girl” being that that sample you are hearing on that record is her. I figured it would be so meaningful and better with her apart of it live. Its taking so long because im putting my all into it. This is not just an album its my pain my life my story me in the now how im feeling. Things are different this time around ima father now to a beautiful baby girl i have so much poetry and new things to share with the world. Everything that pops up in the news that yall want to hear me touch on i talk about it. I bare it all on this album. This is my “Classic” Underrated is a classic. This is my best work. So i be damn i put it out and it aint right. Dont blame my label they have nothing to do with my decision. Birdman lets me be a boss and do what i want. The fall release lineup is getting slimmer by the day. Rick Ross and Bow Wow are the latest rap releases to see delays.

The Teflon Don’s fifth LP God Forgives, I Don’t will likely be pushed from its December 13 date due to his recent seizures. “[Because of] my little health situation, I had to postpone a lot of my groundwork,” Rozay told MTV News. “If I wanted to, I’m pretty sure I could still meet that date, but I think for the people, it’s more important [to lay groundwork] for when I get out there and look them in the face and touch them hands.”

While he promised fans he wouldn’t push it back again, Bow Wow’s Cash Money debut Underrated has been moved from December 6 to an unspecified 2012 date. The 24-year-old rapper recently shot a video for lead single “Sweat” with Lil Wayne.

Additionally, projects from Monica, Birdman, Nicole Scherzinger, and Taio Cruz won’t hit shelves until the new year, and we’ve heard that albums from Young Money’s Tyga and Lil Twist will also not arrive in time for Christmas.

In the behind-the-scenes images shot by Derick G., the 24-year-old rapper hid behind a spiked leather face mask, picked up the guitar, and posed with leather and chain-clad models. Lil Wayne skated onto the set in shorts, a “Weirdo” T-shirt, and Vans to film his scenes for the green-screen clip, which will debut later this month.

Following a series of shows in Japan, Bow Wow returned to the U.S. for Chris Brown’s “F.A.M.E.” tour. During last night’s concert at Cleveland Browns Stadium, he brought out hometown boys Machine Gun Kelly and Chip Tha Ripper. After joining in a prayer circle, the Cash Money rapper and Bad Boy signee performed “Wild Boy.”

“When I go to people’s cities, I just like to spread love,” said Bow, who will release his album Underrated on December 6. “We all from the same state, we all rockin’ together.”

MGK added, “That was so humbling. @BowWow just brought me and @chip216 out for our first time on stage together right here in Cleveland. LACE UP!!”

Bow Wow asks “Who Fuckin’ With Me” on a new track, where he once again calls out his competitors and reflects on what things could have been like if he remained with Snoop Dogg instead of signing with So So Def and later Cash Money. “Could have stayed with Snoop, I wonder how that could’ve been/ Probably gang bangin’ getting active like the rest of ‘em,” he spits.
