Video: Cam’ron – ‘Sweetest’

It’s just one of those days for Cam’ron in the reflective video for “Sweetest,” a cut off the second installment of his 1st of the Month EP series. Draped in his signature pink mink, the Dipset leader kicks back on the couch and remembers his fallen friends while sipping from a bottle of vodka and smoking a joint.

“I stay high in glitter ’cause I miss my ni**as,” raps Killa Cam while throwback footage and photos of his homies flash across the screen.

1st of the Month: Volume 2 is out now featuring Nicki Minaj and Jim Jones, with production from araabMUZIK.

Video: Cam’ron f/ Nicki Minaj – ‘So Bad’

Cam’ron reunites with Nicki Minaj in the video for “So Bad.” In the Antwan Smith-directed clip, Killa Cam and his girl JuJu head out to L.A. to rent a new crib, but he discovers that the owner of the house (played by Nicki) is his ex. He tries to sweet talk her, but her sassy facial expressions do all the talking.

“I shoulda been left your ass, huh / Oh that chicken head you fu**in’ wit, ask her,” raps Nicki.

The song, which also features Yummy Bingham, will appear on the second installment of Cam’s 1st of the Month EP series, set to drop at the top of August.

New Music: Cam’ron f/ Nicki Minaj & Yummy – ‘So Bad’

So Bad

Nicki Minaj breathes new life into a previously released Cam’ron song from 2012. After collaborating on “I Am Your Leader,” the New York rappers come together for “So Bad” for Killa Cam’s 1st of the Month EP series.

Queens songstress Yummy Bingham lays down the hook, while Nicki kicks her man to the curb on her bossy verse.

“You runnin’ ’round frontin’ like you paid in full / My ni**a, you ain’t Rico, this ain’t Paid in Full,” she spits.

The song will appear on Cam’s 1st of the Month: Vol. 2 EP, which drops at the top of August. Upcoming editions are expected to feature Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and more.

Harlem Renaissance: A$AP Mob, Cam’ron Suit Up for GQ

Harlem on the rise. A$AP Mob and Cam’ron showcase their dapper style in the July issue of GQ. The Harlem trendsetters suit up and take the magazine on a tour of the new uptown.

A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, and the rest of the fashion killas put their own jiggy spin on the suit, rocking hoodies and T-shirts under designer brands like Balenciaga, Gucci, and Giorgio Armani.

“Harlem has always been known for its swagger and pizzazz,” said Rocky. “I get my high-end look downtown, but my street style comes from uptown.”

Killa Cam trades his capes and furs for a double-breasted suit by Brunello Cucinelli and Prada tie while cozying up to his girlfriend and Instagram star JuJu.

The Dipset rapper’s 1st of the Month EP is available today, while future EPs will include collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Wiz Khalifa.

Cam’ron Previews Nicki Minaj Collaboration

Cam’ron has bagged Nicki Minaj for a new song. After collaborating on “I Am Your Leader” off Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, the New York rappers come together for Killa Cam’s 1st of the Month series, which will be comprised of 6 EPs and mini-movies to be released at the beginning of each month.

Cam shared a teaser of Nicki’s verse in an Instagram video. A similar song called “So Bad” featuring Yummy Bingham was released in 2012.

“Ay yo Cam, I’m the baddest bitch / You was actin’ mad happy when you bagged this bitch,” raps Nicki.

In addition to the Young Money MC, the EPs will feature Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and more. The first installment (sans Nicki) arrives July 1 on iTunes.

Video: Cam’ron & A-Trak – ‘Dipsh*ts’

Dipset is back. Cam’ron reunites with his fellow Diplomat Juelz Santana in the video for “Dipsh*ts,” his collaboration with A-Trak. The Harlem crew takes it back to hip-hop’s heyday in the Ricky Saiz-directed clip (“‘Yonce”), which features a mink-clad Cam and cameos from Chromeo and Roc-A-Fella co-founder Damon Dash aka “Champagne Dame.”

The explosive summer anthem, produced by Just Blaze, A-Trak, and Oliver, will appear on Cam’ron and A-Trak’s upcoming EP Federal Reserve.

Break out the champagne and head to Harlem with Dipset.

Cam’ron Debuts Cape Collection at New York Fashion Week

There were turtlenecks, furs, and even capes at New York Fashion Week.

Cam’ron debuted his new cape collection with designer Mark McNairy during the designer’s Fall/Winter 2014 fashion show on Tuesday. Models walked the runway to “Hey Ma,” while Cam, draped in a fur-lined cape with “Dipset” on the back, and his girlfriend JuJu held hands and waved to the crowd.

While Killa Cam was hawking capes, Solange was setting her own trends. The fashionista strut into the Noon by Noor show donning a blue sweater. She changed into a bold orange turtleneck and bright blue coat while seated front row alongside Anna Kendrick at the Milly by Michelle Smith presentation.

Mary J. Blige looked fierce and warm in her fur coat while attending the Dennis Basso show. “Loving life!” tweeted the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul.

Rita Ora slipped into a sexy black dress and joined designer Donna Karan and Katie Holmes at DKNY’s 30th Anniversary show. “Miss Donna Karan. I love everything you are. Thank you. Your show. Amazing #dkny the whole team! I ❤️U!” tweeted Rita.

Melanie Fiona opted for an all-black look at the Alice + Olivia show and Angel Haze suited up for Phillip Lim.
