Cee Lo Green rides shotgun with Slaughterhouse in the teaser for “My Life,” the lead single off their Shady Records debut Welcome to: Our House, due this summer. The hip-hop supergroup—Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, and Royce da 5’9”—reflect on their rags-to-riches story in the clip.

“This song is a celebratory record that would not exist if it wasn’t for [the fans],” said Royce da 5’9”.

Goodie Mob Performs on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’

Goodie Mob continued its reunion tour with a stop on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday night. Decked out in L.A. Kings jerseys to celebrate the hockey team’s championship win, the Atlanta group performed their victorious anthem “Fight to Win,” their first new song together in 11 years. Earlier in the show, frontman Cee Lo Green sat down with Kimmel to discuss the Kings, his diamond teeth, and the group’s return to music.

“We weren’t ever severed completely, it was just a hiatus if you will,” said “The Voice” coach. “We went our different ways and did solo projects here and there. Mine took me this direction and I’m coming back home, pretty much the same as the Kings bringing the [Stanley] Cup home.”

New Music: Goodie Mob – ‘Fight to Win’

Cee Lo Green reunited with his Goodie Mob bandmates on “The Voice” last night to debut the group’s new single “Fight to Win.” Dressed as warriors in metallic gold suits with glowing teeth, the Atlanta collective performed the courageous track, which will be used as the theme song for the NBA. The elusive André 3000 even stopped by the show to watch them perform.

“It’s really a special song and you can tell it’s a continuum of what Goodie Mob stands for,” Cee Lo told Sway on “Sway in the Morning.” “It’s definitely African Americana.”

Cee Lo, Khujo, T-Mo, and Big Gipp have recorded 10-15 songs for their upcoming album Age Against the Machine, but a release date has not been set.
