CeeLo Green Performs ‘What Christmas Means to Me’ on ‘Ellen’

CeeLo Green spread some laughs and cheer during his appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” The star of NBC’s “The Voice,” who wraps the third season this week, introduced his stuffed panther Smokey, who he brings with him wherever he goes and even sleeps with. He also presented Ellen with a stuffed animal of her own that sings his hit song “Forget You.”

In return, the talk show host gifted him with a blown-up portrait of his celebrity crush, actress Jamie Lee Curtis.

Plus, CeeLo performed his cover of the holiday classic “What Christmas Means to Me,” which appears on his Christmas album CeeLo’s Magic Moment.

New Music: T.I. f/ CeeLo Green – ‘Hello’

Hello

T.I. and CeeLo Green wave the haters “Hello” as they race to the finish line on the Pharrell-produced collaboration off Tip’s upcoming album Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head, in stores December 18.

The King of the South hustle hard and stays focused, while “The Voice” judge provides the silky smooth hook (“There’s some jealousy in your rearview, hello”).

“Basically we ridin’ off into the sunset,” Tip told Rap-Up.com. “We’re headed to where the winners gather and saying hello and goodbye at the same time to the losers.”

CeeLo Goes ‘Green’ with Kermit the Frog on ‘The Voice’

CeeLo Green crashed The Muppets’ Christmas party in the video for “All I Need Is Love,” and now Kermit and the gang are crashing his show.

Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, and Animal took over NBC’s “The Voice,” filling in for judges Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton. Dressed in a reflective green vest and hat, CeeLo sat at the piano and dueted with his froggy friend on The Muppets’ classic “Bein’ Green,” bringing Fozzie to tears.

The Muppets are going Green this Christmas. Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear, and the rest of Jim Henson’s puppets team with CeeLo Green for some holiday magic in the video for “All I Need Is Love,” which appears on CeeLo’s Christmas album CeeLo’s Magic Moment.

In the Marc Klasfeld-directed clip, “The Voice” judge pulls up to Kermit’s house in a red Rolls-Royce and is invited inside to join the Christmas party, where he dines with the animated gang, rocks around the Christmas tree, and meets Santa Claus, played by “The Office” star Craig Robinson. There’s even a Muppetized version of CeeLo.

Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green combined forces for a royal performance on “The Voice.” The pop diva debuted “Make the World Move,” a collaboration with her fellow “Voice” judge off her new album Lotus. Wearing a crown, poofy white dress, and curly hair, Xtina belted out the feel-good tune before being joined onstage by CeeLo, clad in a silky white outfit. Red balloons fell from the ceiling as they closed with a bang.

The always-eclectic CeeLo Green may have found the most unusual collaboration with “All I Need Is Love” featuring The Muppets. “The Voice” judge, along with Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the rest of Jim Henson’s gang, spread some holiday cheer on the feel-good tune.

“Santa don’t know what to get me/ All I want to see is my baby,” sings CeeLo, who performed the song with The Muppets in Las Vegas as part of his upcoming “CeeLo and Friends” holiday special featuring Rod Stewart and Eric Benét.
