Following “DUI,” Ciara gives us the second of five video snippets that she plans to release for her new songs. In the clip for “Sophomore,” which premiered on E! News, the sexy singer gets her hair messed up while rolling over newspapers.
We’re still recovering from Ciara and Nicki Minaj’s “I’m Out” video. But CiCi keeps the visuals coming with the sultry video for “DUI,” one of five that she created from five different tracks off her self-titled album.
“I did video snippets of many of the songs on the album for my fans so they can have the best experience of my music possible,” explains Ciara of the Hannah Lux Davis-directed clip. “I wanted my fans to see the music for the first time while they are also hearing it.”
Her album is due July 9, but you can stream it now on iTunes.
Ciara slayed the stage with her sizzling set at Sunday’s BET Awards. Following a heavily-censored verse from a blonde Nicki Minaj, CiCi emerged to perform her single “I’m Out.” She nailed her moves and showed off her abs during the dance-heavy number before delivering her hit “Body Party.” Watch her turn up.
Before she hit the stage at the BET Awards ’13, Ciara debuted the video for “I’m Out” during the pre-show. CiCi teams up with Nicki Minaj in the fashionable and fierce clip, directed by Hannah Lux Davis.
The sexy ladies perform some synchronized moves in all white in one scene inspired by Michael and Janet Jackson’s “Scream” video. CiCi dances her ass off and flaunts her designer wardrobe as she toasts to the single life.
Their collaboration will appear on Ciara’s self-titled album, due July 9.
Ciara raises a toast to her fellow ladies in the video for “I’m Out,” her new single featuring Nicki Minaj. During her visit to “Access Hollywood Live,” she played a preview of the dance-heavy clip (sans Nicki). The full video will premiere Sunday during the BET Awards pre-show.
Fresh off the stage at PowerHouse in L.A., Rap-Up TV caught up with hip-hop’s most in-demand hitmaker, Future. While kicking it in his dressing room, the “Tapout” rapper discussed his upcoming album Future Hendrix.
“Expect some real classic music. Expect passion and just being able to express myself in a different way on every record. I’m just coming in different, unique ways to approach the track,” he said.
He also announced that his new single “Honest” will drop in the next 2-3 weeks. “It’s like a club uptempo record,” said Future. “Now’s my turn to give them something from me without the features. It’s me by myself. I don’t have a feature on this.”
He also discussed some of his recent collaborations with music’s hottest women including Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, and his own leading lady, Ciara.
Their duet, “Where You Go,” was originally set to appear on Future’s album, but Ciara wanted it for hers. So like a good boyfriend, he gave her the song. “She’s like, ‘I need this song. It just seems like it was just speaking to me. Give it to me, give it to me.’ I was like, ‘Man cool, you can have it.’”
Ciara teamed up with Future and B.o.B. on the original remix to “Body Party,” and now she invites Ne-Yo over for the “gentlemen’s remix.” The R&B crooner unleashes his freak on the sultry jam, adding some provocative lyrics.
“Let me taste your party favors,” he tells CiCi, while comparing her to a delicious dish. “My dinner party, your body’s my entrée.”
