From L.A. to Tokyo to ATL, Da Brat comes through with her remix to Iggy Azalea’s New Classic hit “Fancy.” So So Def’s First Lady keeps it ‘hood with her rapid-fire rhymes and co-signs the Aussie rapper.

“I just wanna blow up spots, but I fucks with Iggy, Iggy, Iggy / She hot, I don’t stop,” she raps.

After hearing the remix, Iggy responded, “I love da brat! Happy you did something to fancy. You’re a true original.”

Kris Kross’ Chris Kelly Remembered at Atlanta Funeral

Kris Kross’ Chris Kelly was remembered as a true friend and hip-hop pioneer at a memorial in Atlanta on Thursday. His family and friends gathered to pay their respects to the 34-year-old rapper known as Mac Daddy, who died last week of an apparent drug overdose.

Kriss Kross, Da Brat, & Xscape Rehearse for So So Def 20th Anniversary Concert

Jermaine Dupri will celebrate 20 years of So So Def with a star-studded concert tonight at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre. With hours to go until the big show, the So So Def boss shares rehearsal footage starring some of the artists on the bill.

Da Brat and J.D. trade rhymes on “That’s What I’m Looking For,” while Kriss Kross reprises their ’90s classic “Jump.” R&B supergroups Xscape and Jagged Edge also tinker with their performances in the behind-the-scenes footage.

Saturday’s star-studded lineup features past and present So So Def artists including Bow Wow, Bonecrusher, Dondria, and Anthony Hamilton, plus Nelly, Ludacris, and Usher.

“My favorite language money, can you afford me?” she asks before spitting some rapid rhymes.

Da Brat will reunite with her fellow So So Def alum at the 20th anniversary So So Def All-Star Anniversary Concert in Atlanta on February 23 along with Jermaine Dupri, Kriss Kross, Xscape, Jagged Edge, Dem Franchize Boyz, Bonecrusher, and Dondria.
