Dawn Richard transforms into a warrior goddess in the high-fashion video for “Faith” and “Wild N’ Young” aka “Wild N’ Faith,” the third and final visual from her No. 1 EP Armor On. In the concept-driven clip, the former Dirty Money diva goes to battle, losing the fight and restoring faith in warriors that have lost their way.

“I am the goddess of faith sent to restore faith in my apparitions,” Dawn told Rap-Up.com. “This carries the modern day Joan of Arc theme for Goldenheart. Each outfit carries a look of armor.”

Since leaving Bad Boy, the now independent Dawn’s path has mirrored the video. She has had to hear no evil, speak no evil, and see no evil.

The short film, directed by Eugene Lee Yang, serves as the segway into Goldenheart, the first album in her trilogy, due October 16.

Dawn Richard sees no evil in the first of three cinematic trailers for her short film “Wild N’ Faith,” a mash-up of “Faith” off her EP Armor On and the bonus track “Wild N’ Young.”

The former Dirty Money member dons several looks in the Eugene Lee Yang-directed video. “I am the goddess of faith sent to restore faith in my apparitions,” Dawn told Rap-Up.com, referring to the three warriors who star alongside her. “This carries the modern day Joan of Arc theme for Goldenheart. Each outfit carries a look of armor.”

The video will premiere August 28, while Dawn’s full-length album Goldenheart is due October 16.

Dawn Richard transformed into a warrior goddess while shooting the double video for “Faith” and “Wild N’ Young” in Los Angeles over the weekend.

“I am the goddess of faith sent to restore faith in my apparitions,” the former Dirty Money diva told Rap-Up.com, referring to the three warriors who appear alongside her in the video. “This carries the modern day Joan of Arc theme for Goldenheart. Each outfit carries a look of armor.”

Other looks included a spartan warrior and a geisha, for which Dawn donned white padded shoulders, long nails, and seven-inch heels covered in gold and silver snakes.

Dawn Richard put her talents on display once again at the Viper Room in West Hollywood last night. The Dirty Money alum headlined the BMI Next Fresh Thing showcase, with performances from Troy NōKA, Revenge of the Nerds, and Shane Free.

“Middle fingers up,” said Dawn as she delivered an acoustic version of her empowering anthem “Automatic.”

Since her departure from Bad Boy, Dawn Richard has been enjoying success as a solo artist. During her appearance on KIIS FM’s “New Music Show,” the former Dirty Money member spoke about topping the iTunes R&B Albums chart with her independently-released EP Armor On. Plus, she performed an acoustic version of her song “Automatic” for the first time.

“It’s the most beautiful feeling to see us go No. 1, to put out a record and do those things and it’s five people,” said Dawn. “Word of mouth is something that’s way more important. Whereas money buys you everything, in this situation, good relationships get you further than most.”

Dawn will go in front of the lens this weekend to shoot a video for “Faith” and “Wild N’ Young.”

Hot on the heels of her No. 1 EP Armor On and in celebration of her 1 million Twitter followers, Dawn Richard marches forward with her full-length debut Goldenheart, the first in a trilogy of albums, dropping October 16. The former Dirty Money member introduces us to the sound of the project with “Pretty Wicked Things.” Produced and co-written by Armor On collaborator Druski, the haunting track is available on iTunes.

“It’s the story of the beautiful things in life that get ruined by the wicked,” explains Dawn. “Goldenheart is the fusing of new sounds with R&B/soul. We are introducing the setup to Goldenheart with the release of ‘Pretty Wicked Things.’ This isn’t a single. It’s a setup. We have a lot of surprises for the hearts. Grow with us.”

Dawn Richard reveals not one, but three covers for her new song “Pretty Wicked Things.” One religious-themed photo depicts Jesus and his mother Mary, the second features roaring lions, and the third is a close-up of Dawn with black hair and nails. The dark track, produced by her Armor On collaborator Druski, will drop tomorrow on iTunes.

Dawn has shared some of the lyrics with her Hearts in advance.

“I heard the thunder/ Looked like lightning/ I didn’t know under could be so frightening/ Until love went dark/ Lost the sun in your heart,” she sings.
