New Music: Kelly Rowland f/ Beyoncé & Michelle Williams – ‘You Changed’

Destiny's Child

Riding high off the buzz of “Dirty Laundry,” Kelly Rowland rounds up her fellow Destiny’s Child divas Beyoncé and Michelle for “You Changed,” one of the most anticipated records off her album Talk a Good Game, due June 18. While not considered a Destiny’s Child song, it’s probably the closest thing to a reunion we’re going to get for now.

“Ladies, ya’ll wanna do it again?” asks Kelly on the kiss-off anthem before B and Michelle chime in with their own verses, which they recorded separately.

Over a soulful midtempo groove, the trio sings about moving on and not looking back after a failed relationship.

Kelly previewed the song during her visit to Raheem DeVaughn’s radio show on BLIS.fm. You can also hear “Gone” featuring Wiz Khalifa and the Kevin Cossom-penned title track in the video below.

Beyoncé Celebrates with Jay-Z, Destiny’s Child Backstage at Super Bowl

Destiny's Child

What did Beyoncé do after slaying the stage at the Super Bowl? She celebrated with her loved ones, of course. After coming off the field, a smiling Bey ran into the arms of her husband Jay-Z backstage at the Superdome, and the sweet moment was captured on Instagram.

Baddie Bey took to her own Instagram account to share a black-and-white photo of her with Kelly and Michelle holding hands and jumping in the air, and another of her with a hood on moments before taking the stage. The ladies hid themselves under cloaks in order to keep their reunion a surprise.

Mrs. Carter also posted a heartfelt note to her fellow Super Bowl XLVII performers Kelly, Michelle, Alicia Keys, and Jennifer Hudson, toasting their monumental day.

“What a proud day for African American women!!!!” she wrote. “It was an honor to perform at the Super Bowl with you phenomenal ladies.”

See more candid photos from Bey’s big day below.

Beyoncé Performs at Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show [Video]

Beyoncé

Beyoncé entered the history books alongside Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Madonna when she headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans on Sunday, becoming only the third female solo act to do so.

After months of preparations, the 31-year-old superstar invaded the field with a dazzling set complete with fireworks, an army of female dancers, and some very special guests.

Dressed in a black leather leotard, she opened her 12-minute set with “Love On Top” followed by “Crazy in Love,” delving into her catalog of hits including “End of Time” and “Baby Boy.”

And despite denials from her Destiny’s Child bandmates, she reunited with Kelly and Michelle for a medley of DC classics including “Bootylicious” and “Independent Women.” The girls stuck around for “Single Ladies” before B shut it down with “Halo” as the stadium lit up with blue lights.

“Thank you for this moment. God bless ya’ll,” said King B moments before the power went out at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

If you somehow missed the spectacle, watch the Beyoncé Bowl below.

Rita Ora Covers Destiny’s Child’s ‘Say My Name’

Rita Ora

Rita Ora put her spin on Destiny’s Child’s classic “Say My Name” during the Cartier Juste un Clou after-party in New York City on Thursday. Although Beyoncé was watching from the audience, the blonde bombshell didn’t show any signs of nervousness as she tackled the 2000 hit.

B, who is good friends with Rita, has given her feedback as she records her Roc Nation debut. “She’s helped me out a lot. I try to play things and get her opinion,” Rita told Rap-Up TV of her famous friend. “To have one of the inspirations in your face while you’re doing your first album is just like what.”

How did Rita do? Watch and weigh in below.
