Diddy Throws Cassie 26th Birthday Party

French Montana, Cassie, and Diddy

Diddy toasted his favorite Bad Girl’s 26th birthday at a private celebration over the weekend. The hip-hop mogul invited some friends and family to his Los Angeles crib for an intimate soirĂ©e. Cassie partied with Diddy’s son Justin Combs, French Montana, Kevin Hart, and fellow Virgos Evan Ross and Keke Palmer, who were both celebrating their birthdays.

She played ping-pong in her stilettos and guests gathered around to sing “Happy Birthday” to her. Diddy even presented the “King of Hearts” singer with a gold Rolex to match his.

“Happy Birthday @casandrae @cassiesuper…Had to match dem Rolexs baby…Team us! Let’s Go!” he tweeted.

Cassie has been in the studio with Ester Dean and will.i.am working on her oft-delayed sophomore album. Prior to its release, she will drop a mixtape/EP Rock-A-Bye Baby. She also plans to shoot a video for a new song featuring Nicki Minaj. “Can’t wait to shoot this video!!!!” she told the Young Money rapper.

New Music: Shyne – ‘You’re Welcome’ [Diddy Diss]

Shyne and Diddy

Shyne revives his beef with Diddy on the diss track “You’re Welcome.” The two made up earlier this year at Paris Fashion Week, but the “Bad Boyz” rapper decided to release the previously recorded track after Puff didn’t deliver on the promises he made.

In an interview with Miss Info, Shyne explains why he decided to put out the record now. One of them has to do with Diddy’s failure to lobby on his behalf and help get him a U.S. visa. While money was offered (and turned down), Diddy ignored his request to tweet about a White House petition to allow him back in the U.S. (Shyne currently resides in Europe).

Shyne also feels that the Bad Boy mogul should have taken care of the mother of Anthony “Wolf” Jones, who was Diddy’s bodyguard and close friend before he was killed in 2003.

“Don’t give me any money, I don’t need it,” he said. “But take care of Ms. Jones. [Diddy] gave her $10k when I started talking to him, but that was it. But while we were in Paris, he spent half a million on his chick, Cassie… If it weren’t for Wolf, if it weren’t for me, things would be very different. There would be no Ciroc deal, he wouldn’t be worth close to a billion.”

Listen to Shyne air out his issues with his former Bad Boy boss.

Rap-Up TV: Machine Gun Kelly Talks Diddy, Album Guests, & Eminem

“The hardest part of being an artist wasn’t before I was signed. It was once I got signed,” says Machine Gun Kelly during his candid conversation with Rap-Up TV. The Cleveland “Wild Boy” admits that his rise to superstardom has taken a little longer than he had hoped.

He chronicles his journey to achieving the dream in his upcoming documentary. “It just shows what really goes into trying to make a big impact in music and how hard it is when you have this kid you believe is gonna be a superstar,” shares the 22-year-old. “It shows what happens when it doesn’t go like that. We all thought my success was gonna be immediate and it’s so slow.”

Although he’s been signed to Bad Boy for over a year, he still gets starstruck when he’s around his label boss Diddy. “Me and Puff definitely do not always get along, but Puff always has my best interest in his heart,” he says. “Me and Puff live completely different lifestyles. The one thing we have in common is the hot headedness.”

MGK’s debut album Lace Up is due later this year featuring appearances from Tech N9ne, Twista, Bun B, and Lil Jon, who contributes to the anthemic title track. He also hints at a special guest feature on the intro from a lead vocalist for “one of the greatest metal groups to ever do it.”

Now that he’s collaborated with DMX (“I Don’t Dance”), he hopes to one day work with another one of his idols, Eminem, who he calls the best rapper alive. “That would be a fan favorite if an MGK-Eminem song ever went down,” says the “Invincible” rapper. “If those two [DMX and Eminem] could be knocked off, I won’t have any more on my bucket list really.”
