It might take nine months for a woman to have a child, but Estelle waited a sweet three years before delivering her most recent baby, her third album All of Me. And she’s definitely got that glow. The British songstress took some time off to rediscover why she loves making music and returned to the scene with an extremely personal and glamorous, yet round-the-way compilation that hits every brick of her relationship path.

The doe-eyed chanteuse, clad in a generous amount of black lace and confidence, presented 10 tracks from her upcoming album to an intimate audience of media outlets at Openhouse, a sultry lounge in New York City on Wednesday night. With her mentor John Legend by her side, she explained the thought process behind each song, receiving head nods and “amens” along the way.

Estelle offered up a taste of what’s to come (Note: This is not the final tracklisting), plus a comforting promise that lamenting a relationship doesn’t always have to be a solo process, especially when you have many “persons of interest,” as she coyly calls them, waiting in the wings.

Estelle takes a stand for her ladies in the empowering video for “Thank You,” the second single off her third album All of Me (Feb. 28). When the fashionable diva realizes that she’s being cheated on, she kicks her man to the curb in the most classy of ways. Actor Tracey Dukes plays her love interest in the Iren Sheffield-directed clip.

“He basically tries to play me like I’m a sucker,” explained the British songstress, who turns 32 today. But it’s Estelle who gets the last laugh.

Estelle keeps it simple and classy on the black-and-white cover for her third album All of Me, due February 28 via HomeSchool/Atlantic Records. The follow-up to 2008’s Shine features the singles “Break My Heart” with Rick Ross and the Akon-helmed “Thank You,” along with contributions from Janelle Monáe on the Ne-Yo-penned “Do My Thing,” Common (“Victorious”), No I.D., and Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis, among others.

The British songstress will embark on a month-long U.S. tour in support of the project. The 14-date trek kicks off February 2 in Cleveland.

The divas brought the house down at “VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul.” The biggest voices in music paid homage to the great cities of soul music including Chicago, Detroit, London, Memphis, and Philadelphia during the star-studded show, which aired on Monday night. Veteran divas (Chaka Khan, Mavis Staples) and divas-in-training (Jessie J, Florence Welch) dueted on Motown classics.

Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson, and Kelly Clarkson kicked things off with a medley of their hits, Florence + The Machine paid tribute to Amy Winehouse with “Back to Black,” and Jessie J joined Jennifer Hudson for “Knock on Wood.”

JoJo pulled off a leggy look in a blue body-hugging number while attending the Xbox Miracle of Music Benefit on the eve of the American Music Awards. The “Disaster” singer joined her peers including Soulja Boy and Estelle on the rooftop of Siren Studios in Hollywood to help raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Video game fanatic Soulja Boy flaunted his wild style in a cheetah-print backpack while playing Kinect for Xbox 360, and Estelle kept it classy in a long patterned dress with leather jacket. The British songstress, who will co-host today’s online AMA pre-show, presented the 2011 Miracle Award to Eileen Garrido, an 11-year-old heart transplant recipient who started her own non-profit to help other young heart transplant recipients.
