Wale, Meek Mill, Diggy, B.o.B, Robin Thicke, & Estelle Perform on ‘Rip the Runway’

Estelle and Meek Mill

In addition to Lil’ Kim’s highly-anticipated return to the stage, BET’s “Rip the Runway” special featured plenty of performances from hip-hop and R&B’s freshest faces mixed with fashion.

Meek Mill turned New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom into a “House Party,” B.o.B was swimming in women during “So Good,” Wale had the crowd going wild with “Lotus Flower Bomb” and “Slight Work,” and Diggy Simmons broke young hearts with the Jeremih-assisted “Do It Like You.”

On the R&B tip, the charming Robin Thicke took to the piano for “Pretty Lil’ Heart” and the fashion-forward Estelle went “Back to Love” as modeled paraded down the catwalk in designer collections.

If you missed any of the performances, catch them below.

Estelle and Janelle Monáe

Estelle asserts her independence on the Ne-Yo-penned “Do My Thing,” a feel-good collaboration with Janelle Monáe off her third album All of Me, in stores and online Tuesday.

“My roll it ain’t your roll, but trust I know just where I’m going,” the Londoner sings on the energetic retro tune, which was inspired by her journey going from her mother’s garage to starting a successful life of her own in the U.S.

Estelle showered praise on her quirky collaborator Monáe. “As another black girl she is so singular,” she told Rap-Up TV. “She’s genuinely nice and I understood where she was coming from with her style and her energy, and I feel that she got me too.”
