Video: Ester Dean – ‘Bam Bam’ [Trailer]

Ester Dean

After breaking us off with the video for her ’90s-inspired jam “Baby Making Love,” Ester Dean shows off her more colorful side in the teaser for her bass-heavy banger “Bam Bam,” which she describes as “R&B, dirty rap, ratchet music in one.”

Wearing a purple tracksuit, the hitmaker behind hits for Rihanna and Katy Perry licks a lollipop while holding a teddy bear and making funny faces for the camera in the video.

While she is signed to Interscope Records, Ester hinted that she may be going the independent route with her music.

“#TeamDean thanks for all the love and support I’m going hard for y’all independently I gotta get this music to y’all without the politics,” she tweeted.

Managed by Roc Nation, Ester’s debut Story Never Told is due in 2013. Missy Elliott is expected to make an appearance on the track “How You Love It.”

“I’m so happy for you. You know how they go hard for somebody ’cause you know they deserve it?” said the “Drop It Low” singer, who’s readying her Interscope Records debut. “Go hard. This is this boy’s time, so go hard.”
