Fabolous Brings Family to ‘Smurfs 2’ Premiere

Fabolous put family first at the premiere of The Smurfs 2 on Sunday. The devoted dad stepped out to the New York screening with his five-year-old son Johan and baby mama Emily B of “Love & Hip Hop 2″ fame. They walked the blue carpet and posed for silly pics in the Smurfs photo booth.

“Only got 3 hrs sleep but made sure i took #PrinceJoso to the #Smurfs2 private premiere 2day,” said Fab. “This a small sacrifice to see my boy smile.. This is what we must do as parents. Its our first priority. Its our toughest job. Its our biggest goal. To raise the next generation of Kings & Queens.”

When he’s not focused on fatherhood, Loso has been putting the final touches on his upcoming album Loso’s Way 2: Rise to Power featuring Future, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, 2 Chainz, and Trey Songz.

New Music: DJ Prostyle f/ Fabolous & French Montana – ‘F.O.H.’

DJ Prostyle turns the popular Internet acronym “F.O.H. (Fuck Outta Here)” into a club banger featuring Fabolous and French Montana. The New York rappers turn up and shut down the naysayers on the rattling record, which is set to appear on Prostyle’s upcoming compilation. Haters, keep it moving.

Video: Fabolous – ‘Money Talks’

While we wait for Loso’s Way 2, Fabolous holds his fans over with new material. He connects with Funkmaster Flex in the video for “Money Talks” off Flex’s mixtape Who You Mad At? Me or Yourself? Loso makes his way through a studio flanked by two ladies. He meets Flex outside and they ride around NYC in their classic whips.

Loso’s Way 2 is expected to feature Future, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, 2 Chainz, and Trey Songz.

“I’ma give you what I do and some collaborations here and there, but definitely some evolution as an artist, as a man, as a father, as a friend,” he told Rap-Up TV of the sequel to 2009′s Loso’s Way.

New Music: Ariana Grande f/ Fabolous – ‘The Way (Remix)’

Ariana Grande has found herself a new bad boy. After linking with Mac Miller, the 20-year-old pop star calls on Fabolous for the remix to her single “The Way.” Loso lays down a radio-friendly verse (“I love the way you make me feel/ My thirsty ex gets no refill”), while Ariana hits her signature high notes.

Her debut album is due August 20. She plans to announce the title on Monday.

New Music: Fabolous – ‘Young OG’

Fresh off his 2 Chainz-assisted single “When I Feel Like It,” Fabolous debuts yet another song. On “Young OG,” Loso caters to the streets with his gritty rhymes.

“Runnin’ ’round, killin’ shit, tellin’ cops I didn’t do it/ That’s why they call me young OG/ And I’ma spit this dope shit until my tongue OD,” he raps.

Fabolous plans to release Loso’s Way 2: Rise to Power this summer featuring Future, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, and Trey Songz.

Jay-Z, Beyoncé, T.I., Maxwell, & Fabolous Celebrate 40/40 Club 10th Anniversary

Jay-Z has a lot to celebrate. In addition to his upcoming album Magna Carta Holy Grail and lucrative deal with Samsung Mobile, the hip-hop mogul toasted the 10th anniversary of his 40/40 Club in New York on Monday night. Some of his famous friends in the music and sports industry dressed up and turned out to the star-studded bash.

Jay looked sharp in a grey suit, while his boo Beyoncé stunned in a white Roberto Cavalli dress with a plunging neckline.

T.I. and Tiny held court with Mr. and Mrs. Carter in VIP and Amar’e Stoudemire and Roc Nation Sports’ own Robinson Cano were in the building.

Guests including Maxwell, Kylie Minogue, Fabolous, Busta Rhymes, Meek Mill, Adrienne Bailon, and RaVaughn Brown sipped D’Usse cocktails as DJ FirstChoice and DJ Big Jeff provided the evening’s soundtrack.

Lil’ Kim Surprises at Summer Jam

Nicki Minaj and Lil’ Kim both touched the stage at Summer Jam XX on Sunday. While Nicki was a guest of 2 Chainz, Lil’ Kim had MetLife Stadium buzzing when she surprised during Fabolous’ set. The Queen Bee performed “Queen Bitch” off her debut Hard Core.

“When we talk about the ni**as who be killin’ it from Brooklyn, it was only right that we got the queen out here,” said Fab.

There were also rumors that Foxy Brown was supposed to appear during Loso’s set, but she was running late.
