Flo Rida Gets Wild on ‘Today’ Show Concert Series

Flo Rida brought some sunshine to New York City when he hit Rockefeller Plaza to perform on the “Today” Toyota Concert Series. The chart-topping rapper delivered hit after hit off his new album Wild Ones including the title track, “Whistle,” and “Good Feeling,” stripping shirtless for “I Cry.”

“My goal was to watch all my fans go crazy, party wild like never before,” said Flo, whose dream collaborations include Beyoncé and OutKast.

He also praised his mother for instilling a strong work ethic in him. “I owe it to my mom. She always motivated me to put God first and always believe in yourself,” said Flo. “Work hard and always try to dedicate as much of your time to what you’re trying to achieve in life.”

Flo Rida hits the “Sweet Spot” with Jennifer Lopez on one of many potential chart-toppers off his fourth album Wild Ones, arriving July 3.

“It’s a very catchy, melodic record,” said the 32-year-old rapper, who told Rap-Up.com that he plans to shoot the video early next month.

Flo recently went in front of the lens in the video for J.Lo’s single “Goin’ In,” on which he is featured.

“They had me performing around this Lamborghini,” he said. “It was really different ’cause there was one scene where I got on this treadmill and they had me running while performing my verse. I had a chance to look back at the video and it seemed like over the top.”

Lil Wayne keeps the party going on Part 2 of Flo Rida’s rockin’ single “Let It Roll.” The club banger, which samples Freddie King’s “Let the Good Times Roll,” will appear on Flo’s fourth album Wild Ones, in stores July 3.

“Put your motherfu**in’ hands in the air and my throne is an electric chair,” raps Weezy on his fast-paced verse.

Flo was once again impressed by the Young Money rapper. “He comes up with these verses very fast and he’s a guy who’s a perfectionist,” he told Rap-Up.com.
