Vitaminwater celebrated MLB All-Star Week with the Homers in the Hudson Event at Hudson Terrace in NYC on Monday. 50 Cent and G-Unit, Aubrey O’Day, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, and Russell Simmons were in attendance.
Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III returns to the top of The Billboard 200 this week selling 156,000 copies. The New Orleans rapper’s latest album has now moved 1.68 million units since its release four weeks ago.
G-Unit’s sophomore album, T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight), debuts at No. 4 with 102,000. The group’s previous album Beg For Mercy was No. 1 with 377,000 when it debuted in 2003.
Young Buck called up 50 Cent to apologize, asking to be reinstated into G-Unit. “I don’t want to be dismembered from the crew,” he pleads in this emotional phone call. Guess you don’t know what you got until it’s gone.
UPDATE: This phone call is apparently a year old leaked conversation 50 had with Buck. So the situation remains the same.
At a listening for G-Unit’s new album T.O.S. (Terminate On Sight) held in New York last week, Miss Info reported that 50 Cent takes shot at T.I. on a new song called “You So Tough.” 50 raps:
“Nowaways this rap shit ain’t adding up. How niggas get caught with 10 machine guns, only get 12 months? I got the best lawyers that money can buy… They say at best they woulda got me 10 or maybe nine.” Damn!
