Iggy Azalea Takes Over TAO Las Vegas

Following her appearance at the Dinah Shore Club Skirts Weekend White Party in Palm Springs, Iggy Azalea hit up TAO nightclub at The Venetian in Las Vegas on Saturday. Wearing a black dress under an oversized leopard-print coat, the Aussie rapper strut down the carpet before performing for the crowd inside.

The fashionista is working with designer Alejandra Hernandez on a line of women’s loungewear. “I’m not trying to make high-fashion clothing,” Iggy told The New York Times. “I’d never do that.”

Last night on “SNL,” Iggy’s single “Fancy” was featured in a skit with host Anna Kendrick, who rapped along while playing Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

Iggy gave the Pitch Perfect star her stamp of approval, tweeting, “amazing lol @AnnaKendrick47.”

New Music: Keyshia Cole f/ Iggy Azalea – ‘I’m Coming Out’

Keyshia Cole and Iggy Azalea team up on a remake of Diana Ross’ “I’m Coming Out,” which the Notorious B.I.G. and Puff Daddy famous sampled on “Mo Money Mo Problems.”

The Aussie rap diva channels Biggie on her intro verse and shouts out the original diva (“Steppin’ out Diana Ross, no Supremes”) before Keysh sends her man packing on the Irv Gotti and Reefa-produced club banger, which will appear on the soundtrack to The Other Woman.

The romantic comedy, starring Nicki Minaj, Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, and Kate Upton, hits theaters April 25.

Earlier this morning, Iggy also stopped by “The Breakfast Club,” where she discussed her upcoming debut The New Classic and her work ethic.

Iggy Azalea Gets Pranked On-Air for April Fools’ Day

Iggy Azalea was the victim of a cruel April Fools’ joke when she stopped by Angie Martinez’ show on Hot 97. The “Fancy” rapper was almost through with her interview when the station’s senior producer Drewski informed her and Angie that the audio was not recording. The room got silent and jaws dropped.

“Oh my God, I hate you,” said a shocked Iggy, while Angie couldn’t hide her disbelief.

After the prank was revealed, Iggy admitted to being fooled. “I believed that, that was fucked up,” she said.

Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX Get ‘Fancy’ on ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’

Class is in session. Fresh off her appearance at the mtvU Woodie Awards, Iggy Azalea hit up “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Monday.

Dressed as a school girl in a yellow plaid skirt and pigtails, the Aussie rap sensation recreated her Clueless-inspired music video while performing her single “Fancy,” complete with choreography and an appearance from Charli XCX.

On April 22, she will release her debut The New Classic featuring Rita Ora, T.I., and Mavado.

Lil Wayne, Iggy Azalea, & Childish Gambino Perform at mtvU Woodie Awards

Rap superstars and indie bands converged in Austin, Texas to celebrate the 10th annual mtvU Woodie Awards during SXSW. Lil Wayne kicked off the 35-minute show by performing a verse from “A Milli” and a new freestyle.

“Tonight, we here to celebrate the theme of my life, and that’s music,” said Weezy.

Following an introduction from Danny Brown and Steve Aoki, Iggy Azalea rocked a Clueless-inspired getup while performing her latest single “Fancy” with Charli XCX as balloons and confetti filled the stage.

Childish Gambino capped off the show with an electrifying set, entering from the back of the venue covered in LED lights. Accompanied by a marching band, he performed a medley of “3005″ and “Sweatpants.”

Drake won the Woodie of the Year, which Lil Wayne accepted on his behalf. “Cannot be more fu**in’ happier for my man Drizzy,” said Weezy.

Other winners included Beyoncé (Did It My Way Woodie), Chance the Rapper (Best Video Woodie), Ed Sheeran (Performing Woodie), and A$AP Rocky and Skrillex (Best Collaboration Woodie).

Lil Wayne, Iggy Azalea Invade the Stage at mtvU Woodie Awards

From Beyoncé to The 1975, mtvU celebrated the music college students love at the 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards during SXSW in Austin, Texas, on Thursday. The show, which was taped before a live audience, featured performances from Lil Wayne, Iggy Azalea, Childish Gambino, and more.

Tunechi surprised the crowd by kicking off the show with a freestyle and a verse from “A Milli,” leading into the evening’s first performers, The 1975.

Wiz Khalifa presented Drake with the night’s biggest honor, Woodie of the Year, which his Young Money boss Weezy accepted on his behalf.

Following an introduction from Danny Brown and Steve Aoki, Iggy Azalea had the audience on its feet with a Clueless-inspired performance of “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX.

Childish Gambino closed out the show. After entering from the back of the venue covered in LED lights, the rapper-actor led a marching band to the stage, where he performed a medley of “3005″ and “Sweatpants.”

Beyoncé won the first-ever Did It My Way Woodie, Chance the Rapper took home Best Video Woodie, and A$AP Rocky and Skrillex picked up the Best Collaboration Woodie.
